First and foremost, I am not a sweet-talker. Social skills are not part of my arsenal, although I try to be polite. When in a conversation, especially OOC about roleplay, I look for: purpose, suggestions, conclusion. (I'm not a rock; I banter too. Just not as expressive as the average guy.) Passive aggression irks me, but I won't react to it. In fact, if we end up as incompatible, I hope we part ways on amicable terms. I wouldn't mind trying again with you in the future if you don't walk off with a snide comment or two.

It is wholly frustrating for me if someone speaks with a subtext, as I have been told by RL and online friends that I am "transparent". If you don't like something, don't hesitate to bring it up! Nothing hurts me more than to hurt someone unintentionally, whether emotionally or mentally*. I derive half of my writing pleasure as a roleplayer from knowing that our story makes you feel happy/good! The other half is my satisfaction from receiving, and replying, to a response I know was done by my partner, with effort and mutual interest in mind.

I write in third-person, past narrative, and approximately 200 to 300 words per post. On better days, I write 5+ paragraphs (1k words or above). Please don't worry if you think my starters are long; I write long introductions, then shorten posts when our characters are interacting. If you write 4+ sentences, I am contented already. I care about punctuation and grammar. Typos are fine with me as long as they are not in every paragraph.
