"You can do whatever you like when we get back, right now we need to be safe!" Karol growled lowly into her ear as he grabbed her hand. He didn't like being here, surrounded by people he didn't know or didn't like, but she had wanted so badly to see the city lights. She had begged him since they had been children, how much she had wanted to see how the Alphas and Betas acted without them. After all, it wasn't too often that Alphas had ventured anywhere near their enclave. They had a few betas that showed up every now and then, wanting to join their little group of freedom fighter Omegas, the silence realm she liked to joke.
"You don't have to always treat me like a child." She looked up at him, long black eyes lashed with large purple iris's staring at his dark green orbs. He was much taller than her, and like her he had a zip up hoodie on. The hood was up, shrouding their faces in the night, not like it mattered much. The stubble was still on Karol's chin from the day before, but she looked at him as though he was still a child. After all the two had grown up together, and had almost always been together. Though he had told her how dangerous it was coming to city crawling with Alphas and Betas, ones that didn't care much about Omega's freedom at all.
"I don't? You are wearing pig tails and have a doll like face! How can I not treat you like a child?" Karol looked down at her, her long pastel purple hair had been pulled from her hoodie, dangling against her clothed chest and spiraling at the ends below her waist. Her hair was shiny, well kept. Though the ends that spiraled were a deep pink color. The coloring looked good on her, and most Alphas or Betas didn't seem to mind all too often, most of them seemed to do the same. However Karol knew why they had both colored their hair, her preferring cuter colors then his shaggy blond color. It masked their scents from the Alphas. The Betas weren't as scary as the Alphas was, and Karol couldn't see her being taken away from him yet. She pursed her lips together at him, big full lips with a pastel rose color to them, in comparison to her pale skin it looked adorable and he couldn't help but smile at her childish expression. "Momo...Stop doing that. You are too cute for your own good."
"Momokok!" She pulled her hand away from him, fists on her tiny hips. She stood no taller than 4'7, the girl hadn't grown for a few years yet she was the age of 16. Though, in the six inches of heels she was walking around with, a pastel blue of course, she stood at 5'1 next to Karol. Karol in comparison was pretty short as well, 5'8 to be exact, but he hadn't minded at all. Betas blended it with him, and Momo and him didn't stand so far out with their shortness. Though compared to some Alphas, they felt like tiny dolls. She made an angry face at him, dark brown brows furrowing at him. "It's Momokok!" She exclaimed, seemingly annoyed with him for calling her a pet name. However, in her high pitched childish voice there was no way Karol couldn't stop himself from laughing at her. "Stop laughing at me!" Momo stomped her feet, her legs were bare, showing their toned quality all werewolves held, and she wore black frilly shorts, though they were hidden mostly under her grey hoodie.
"Momo." Karol finally said after placing his hands on his jeans to bend down to her, his lined tugged into a grin, his hoodie sleeves were pushed up his biceps, and he wore a watch -silver- on his right wrist. "Momo is a better name for you. It's cuter, it fits how cute you are." He exclaimed smiling smuggling at her. "Now, we should go. I know you are hungry, but going to the market place in mid day to steal food is a bad idea." Karol was whispering now, hand over his lips as he whispered into her pale ear. Momo chewed on her bottom lip, long nails in points curling as she thought about what he was saying. People passed them by on the streets, not thinking too much about how they looked. Their hair was dyed, the clothes they wore had certain types of perfumes on them, and they had both been sure to rinse in a certain chemical bath so no one could tell their scent from anyone elses. Mostly, Betas would think they were Betas, and Alphas would think they were Betas. "Let's go to a trash bin or something to get food, then we can go home tomorrow morning after camping out in an alleyway. You've gotten to see the big city, and it's not for us Momo. It's dangerous here." Karol pulled back, he was smiling halfway, really an uncertain smile. There was this nagging feeling that something was going to go wrong, and he didn't want to stick around for it to happen. However, his face slipped from a smile when he heard her stomach rumbling, as well as his own echoing the motion. He watched Momo wrap her arms around her stomach and shiver, they hadn't eaten for days.
"I'm so hungry.." Momo exclaimed. Karol had found himself following her into the marketplace, even after he had told her they could go home and she could do whatever she wanted there. Momo was rubbing her stomach as they walked, her heels clicking against the stone ground. They walked through the booths in the center, the first rows of booths in the park consisted of arts and crafts, jewelry, candles, painting, sculptors, journals, one even had fairly frilly girly things that Karol was surprised Momo didn't stop to look at. He was looking around, scanning the faces, the way people moved around them, and making sure no one was watching them.
The smell of food hit Karol making every muscle in his body tense at the smells, pork roasting, chicken, bison, beef, snake, lamb, vegetables, fruits. His mouth started salivating, but he swallowed it before sighing. "Momo, this is a bad-" Karol looked down, eyes wide when she wasn't close to him. His head jerked around, turning this way and that as he looked for her and when he looked forward...he could see her weaving between the crowds of people. "Shit!" His face snarled, before Karol was dashing after her trying to push people out of his way to get to her, but he wasn't as short and small as Momo who was weaving between people's backs, through their legs and up struck arms.
"STOP HER!" The words were sprung from a lively man's lips as he spat, pointing to the girl as she ran. "SHE STOLE MY MEAT!" He screamed, expecting someone to chase after her. Momo's hood had fallen off her small head, her hair was bouncing behind her as she maneuvered carefully between people's legs, a whole two racks of lamb, uncooked, was jammed beneath her hoodie, and her arms cradled it like a baby as she ran. People stopped, looking at the stale of the man screaming in shook, and this gave Momo a better opportunity to run. People had stopped walking, there was pauses in there steps and she broke through the crowd smiling as she started running full force in her heels, not bothering to look behind her to see if Karol was there or not as she dodged people, twisting through the park to go into the city streets.
Momo didn't know the city at all, but she shoved people out of her way as she held onto the meat, not bothering to stop for anyone that told her too. She was certain she might break her legs running like this, but she continued to run, crossing streets as cars tried to turn lanes, jumping them, sliding across them before weaving through more people. Finally, after a good twenty minutes of running, Momo turned a corner in the town, she saw an underground subway, cram-packed with people, and she pushed down inside of it. Momo weaved in and out of people, walking slowly before she found a public restroom, a shared one, before opening it, moving past the one person in there before going to a stale. She closed the door, put the seat down on toilet, climbed on top of the toilet with her feet up as she panted heavily before pulling the raw meat out. Momo didn't bother, or care if people heard her, or smelt the meat, but she dug her teeth into it and began to devour the first food she had in four days.
