Banned birthdays?

I am curious as to why we display the birthdays of banned accounts? I logged in today to do some roleplaying, and I noticed the name of an account of a banned user, and with it all the bad memories it brought of them having harassed me non stop with multiple accounts.

Because the staff don't delete accounts, so if a banned member returns they can't reclaim their old identity, and also so records of their habits, IPs, etc. remain. The birthday announcer doesn't differentiate.

I'd recommend you take heart in the fact that they're banned, instead of getting the vapors over seeing a name.
