Being the bad boy on campus is actually quite tough. Punks are always trying to pick fights with you. Teachers and staff think you're a delinquent and don't treat you in a favorable light. Girls are into you, but they're too scared to do anything if you're nearby because of your reputation. The list goes on and on. Antonio Lane certainly fit the bill of a bad boy, but he seemed to take it all in stride. Hell, he seemed to thrive off of it. Everywhere he went, he knew he either commanded fear or respect. No one could touch him, not even the Principal. He felt at home when he was at Ajin High School and if someone wanted to do something about it, they would have to bring an army in order to do so. But this eighteen year old junior wasn't always going against the system. In fact, up until Middle School, he had spent most of his youth being bullied and harassed. If it weren't for a chance encounter with a demon, he might have never built up the courage to take a stand and begin looking out for number one.
Of course, the term demon may be a bit of an overstatement. He...or she, certainly fought like one. Antonio had gotten on the wrong side of some punks as they were trying to shake down some nerd for lunch money. They cornered him and were beating him up pretty good when a figure in a long jacket with a Japanese symbol which he later learned read 'Demon' (and thus making him believe one saved him) swooped in and just completely cleaned house. It was too bad both his eyes were swollen and the person didn't say a word, otherwise he would have been able to identify their gender. The only thing he remembered was that jacket and that he or she was tall, probably a high schooler or an adult. If he ever met that person again, he would probably take them out for a drink out of gratitude...
