The guys were excited, it was Friday, classes were over, drinking had begun. They were all at the big mansion of one of their parents house, who were out of the country on vacation. They had been planning it almost since the beginning of the year, ever since they discovered each other on campus as 'Civ junkies'. Guy who were hopelessly addicted to playing Civilization every chance they got, though most were rather geeky, dorky, nerds. Just good natured guys who were better at studies and gaming, then they were with girls. So it was no surprise that all the players were guys, gathering to play a huge marathon Civilization 5 tournament. The dinning room table moved into the living room, the furniture moved all around to make many different stations with a comfortable chair, and a spot for their computer in front of them. 22 different stations were all around the room, with walk ways between some towards the bathrooms, kitchen, front door and bedrooms. The guys of course, had it all hooked up and networked together before the last guy showed up.
The guys all liked Mike, but they hated him too. Mike was just as geeky as any of them, in fact he was the shortest, skinniest and not even the smartest of the group. They hated him because of his girlfriend, now a few of the guys even went to high school with the couple, where they met and had been going out for two years prior to this freshmen year of college. Racheid a 18 year old skinny short young man from India was quick to say out loud, "we are playing huge, marathon, 22 civilization session, we need to get started and pick our countries now", he got in front of his computer sitting down, "come on", he said obviously ready to go. The guys started to sit down in front of their computers, Mike before sitting down in front of his computer said, "since my girlfriend is serving everyone this whole weekend, I claim Catherine of Russia!" His good buddies since high school were used to this, Mike always wanted that civ, he liked to do lots of building and spreading out into lots of cities, as quick as he could. His buddies knew they either wanted to be really close to him, to keep in check check, or far away, to build up and wait for him to come to them. Most of the guys agreed with out much thought of it, a few reluctantly agreed, either wanting that civ for themselves or knowing what Mike would try to do with it.
After hearing her boyfriend verbally bartering her for him to get his way, she smiled and walked into the huge kitchen and looked in the pantry and huge refrigerator to see what she had to work with. Sara had worked in restaurants since she was 15, waiting tables since she went away to college for spending money. So she had no problem looking at what there was and after finding what she had for choices, she walked back in the main room asking, "okay guys, I am ready when ever you need anything at all, I am hear for you, just tell me what you want and I will give it to you."
