Everend was a small and quiet city, a tame suburbia in which nothing noteworthy ever happened...Until a house randomly became consumed by fire without any form of explanation. But apart from the spontaneous combustion of dwellings, it was your hum-drum one horse town. Though, it did have one of the more popular night clubs in the county...
The club was known as The Fang, and was a popular hideout for those who found themselves seduced by the darker forms of music. Somewhere in the tangle of dancers was Vallios, working his body in graceful smooth motions. His partner was a slim, short girl with a pretty pale face that was usually hidden behind her long dark brown bangs. But, she was not important...Vallios would either manage to ensnare her for a night of 'fun', or she'd be quickly forgotten as Vallios found someone else to share a bed with for the night.
Despite being a sociopath with no moral fiber or emotions, Vallios was quite 'social'...At least, in one aspect of the word. The town's hellion certainly got around, and did so quite frequently....So, criminally insane, and a nymphomaniac? Great mix. Really, perfect combination to be the antagonist of one of those thriller books that many young girls found themselves so enthralled with.[/i]
