An odd n00b question

So at various times in the day I hit up BMRP via the iPhone (such as right now), and I've discovered that while I can view the chat room, I cannot post to it due to the lack of a send button. So I lurk.

The question is, is that chat run from an IRC server, and if so, what's the address/port #?
