The director looked over her notes, waiting for that knock on her door that would tell her its time. They had moved everything into the new facility, Eldritch House, yesterday. All the rooms were set up for their patients, the house fully functional now. All that was left was debriefing the staff, and transporting the good into their beds.
She moved some paperwork over and pulled up the thick folders which each of their new test subjects files. Opening the first one she scanned the page, reillerating what she already knew.
"Patient Nakaylia. Siren..."
We'll convince her she has a sever bipolar disorder, and is a recovering sex addict.
"...Next is Jet. He's been put down under demon for classification, but I'll need to debrief the staff on his exact qualities..."
And he'll believe he has schizophrenia with a severe mental breakdown landing him hear. Which from his mother's notes, isn't far from the truth.
"...Phoenix. Werewolf..."
Psychotic disorder and possible delusional parasitosis from increased drug use. We'll have to watch her temper too.
"Lukai. Oh goodie, we have a fire demon in our midst."
We'll need to watch his temper too, so he doesn't burn the damn house down. He will have...pyromaniac tendencies with congenital analgesia and Intermittent Explosive Disorder.
There were three files left, one for their vampiric patient, Chan and two more females.
"Chan suffers from a few diabilities. Porphyria, Catalepsy, and Renfield syndrome. And then there is our unique beauty Nkemdilim."
She hadn't been easy to track down. Necromancers were hard to identify, as they looked and acted human, and this one was a powerful necro. Acquiring her had been difficult, but the director was pleased that she was part of the experiment now. She would be told she had necromania and schizoaffective disorder.
The last patient was an add-on, one of her main staff wanting to conduct a few experiments on this female from the sea. Tatia, the mermaid. It was a little harder to believe they existed, and from what she'd seen, they held no other power than the ability to change their legs into a single fin, and breath underwater. The director would have dismissed this one, but her head scientist had insisted, wanting to study her. Simply to keep her in the program, they would tell her she had severe depression, along with thalassophobia and aquaphobia. It would keep the little fish from water for a time.
A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts and she stood, taking her files with her as she attended the meeting, knowing in half hour's time their new patients would wake.
