Basically this will be a roleplaying session of the player characters getting together to form a rock band. Does the band want to become rich and famous? Do they just want to play music? What is the band's behaviors like on and offstage? That's up to the players. Propose a character that would fit for the RP here using a format like this:

Part refers to what part the character plays in the band: Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Drums, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard, etc. or a staff member: Manager, Sound Technician, Road Crew, Merchandise Salesman, Lawyer, etc.

Feel free to ask questions, and hopefully we can get enough to start the RP proper!
 
Name: Rin Buraku
Age: 19
Part: drummer
Preferred Genre(s): Rock, punk rock, screamo, emo, anything rock really.
Appearance: At about 5'8", she's slim with ample curves. Her pale skin is always shining since she's very active and always sweating. She has medium length hair that stops at her shoulders. At the moment, it's blue but she's thinking about going pink. She loves wearing black hoodies, black jeans, a white studded belt, and sneakers. She always has a bit of black eyeliner on and black painted nails.
Background: Originally from Japan, she moved out of the country to travel the world and find a band to belong too. She's a huge fan of anime and manga and she always love acting like her favorite character. Usually when she's about to say goodbye to someone, she says it by saying, "BYE-ME!" and giggling before running off. She has a lot of energy and seems nice. She never tells anyone about her history before leaving Japan. And she never tells anyone about her parents. She looks young but at times, she'll act like she's someone from the sengoku era of Japan.

Background: Sir Shredsalot, as he prefers to go by, was the lead guitarist of the Rockaneers (pictured above). They toured the United States and produced three albums, but for reasons undisclosed to the public they split up after being together for only two years. Now a solo artist, Sir Shredsalot is working on his own album, and is looking to start a band of his own. He is most recognized for his battle axe-shaped guitar, The Axecutioner.
 
I might as well, though I say that there need to be a few more females.

Name: Lawrence "Lance" Stewart
Age: 21
Part: Bass/Backup Vocal
Preferred Genre(s): He will listen to almost any music... He loves to listen to very well done instrumental
Appearance: He has short brown hair and often forgets to shave as his hair grows out from time to time but he usually shaves within a week or two. His eyes are hazel and he is the tallest of the band standing at 6'4". He does wear glasses but is forced to wear contacts as well as a wig on stage because he does not look the part of a rocker normally. But he is one of the best basses so that is why he is around.
Background: Though he may not look the rocker part he is very musically gifted. In middle school he had joined the choir because he found that his voice had already changed into a nice bass range. He sang all through High School but during that time he had always enjoyed the sound of a bass guitar and he taught himself how to play. He even signed up for stage crew whenever possable and gained some skills there too. Soon he was one of the people that was hired for the high school shows to help if they needed bands for anything as well as a good stage hand. He may seem a bit intimidating because of his size but in truth he is gentler than a kitten and usually one of the most helpful people you will meet.
 
A few more females? I seldom see an even gender distribution in bands; most of the time it's all men or all women...
 
I mean at least for groupies or something, you know there could be compitition for one girl between two band members.
 
yeah, so if we could get girls in here too, either as band members or groupies or maybe even an agent that might be interesting.
 
No, we need at least a lead vocalist before we can begin. We have two backup, one guitar, one bass, and one drummer. We at least need a lead vocal, and I would say a manager before we begin.
 
Someone PMed me about that, wanting to be the lead singer and all. I was going to have the RP start off as an audition led by my character, and the rest will be introduced through that.
