Amber gave a soft yawn as she pushed her chestnut brown hair away from her emerald eyes. Said eyes flicked around her bedroom for a moment before she grudgingly pulled herself out of bed. She stretched for a moment before giving her bedside clock a glance. 1: 44 am the blue digital numbers read. She shook her head and frowned she stumbled about her room for a moment as she pulled on a pair of soft black, barely there, shorts to cover up her lower half. She gave a glance down at the silk chemise she wore to sleep that night clucking her tongue slightly before deciding not to change, after all she was just going down stairs.
She could hear her sisters tinkling laughs from just two doors away, and she gave a soft sigh before opening her bedroom door. She moved as quietly as possible down the hall towards the stairs, but obviously not quietly enough because the laughs stopped abruptly and hushed voices and shushing replaced it. Amber often thought her sister must think she was stupid. She knew her sisters fiance was in there, they were going to be married next year after all. Honestly Amber didn't care and she had told her sister so on several occaisions, what Megan did with her fiance in her room was no concern of hers' as long as that's where it stayed. She shook her head as she descended down the stairs into the main living room and kitchen. She rumbled around the kitchen for a bit before finding a glass and pouring herself some water.
She looked round the dark kitchen for a moment before grabbing an apple out of the fruit bowl. She looked at the fruit inspecting it for faults, as if she'd be able to see them in the dim light, before peeling the sticker off and taking a bite, the fruit making a satisfying crunching sound as she bit into it. She hummed happily to herself before she hopped up on the counter and sat swinging her legs lightly enjoying her extremely early morning snack. She listened to the silence of the cabin for a moment before shaking her head at the laughing coming lightly from her sisters room.
"Good for her," Amber said to herself "I'm glad she found someone that can deal with her uptightness." she chuckled a bit at that thinking about her sister and her fiance. They were such and odd couple certainly opposites in personalities. Megans fiance reminded her a bit of the boy she had met studying abroad in Europe. His name was Luis and Amber could've gotten absolutely lost in his deep chocolate brown eyes. She remembered every moment, threading her hands through raven black hair. Listening to his smooth accented english flow through a dark room. But alas that boy was in Germany at the moment while she was here, listening to her sister enjoy herself at 2am in their parents cabin in the mountains. What a wonderful begging to a family weekend...
