((OOC: Frogger has been busy with Real Life, I mentioned to her that I would make the opening post if she’d like but she hasn’t given me a reply however she has mentioned that she was wanting a bit of help, I’ve taken it upon myself to start this up as a few people are wanting to get going. If Frogger isn’t happy with this opener then let me know sweetie and I’ll edit it with yours when you get one.))
Khun was attending school like every other Friday, or so he thought, the classroom was full of students all in the similar uniform of Fujimi High School, a High School in Tokyo, he sat in his boring English lesson the same thing he would do every Friday that this time, it was the 5th and final period of the day and around 3pm. He ever so gently twirled his pencil around his fingers with expert precision, his eyes to the front of the class but his mind not on the lesson that was being presented to him, his eyes would occasionally wander around the classroom to the students who he shared the lesson with, he knew most of them fairly well after all he was in his final year and had been at this school for 5 years now, and due to his position in the school’s student hierarchy it was hard to be a student and not know of the head boy.
It was then that something different happened, something that wasn’t the same as the normal Friday afternoon in Fujimi High School, there was a loud bang, a bang loud enough to be heard all throughout the school coming from the front gates, Khun couldn’t help but be intrigued by the noise from outside, he jumped up to his feet and stood looking out of the window, his seat was in the centre of the back row of the classroom so it wasn’t much of a move for him to be looking out of the window down onto the courtyard of Fujimi High School, that empty stone yard that he’d spend his breaks and lunch in now only had one person in it – the receptionist. He knew the receptionist fairly well, her name was Sarah and she would always help him out when he needed to get something printed for a student council meeting as him being a student meant he didn’t have proper access to the printing systems in the school but she was always nice and helpful if he asked nicely.
His eyes moved off the back of the receptionists head and to the gate into the yard, locked during school hours the gate had been crashed into by a vehicle, that must have been the bang, and standing next to the vehicle was a man, from this distance Khun couldn’t get a good look at the guy but he knew one thing, he didn’t look good. The man’s head was hanging looking down at the floor and his arms hung out in front of him looking weak like he couldn’t lift them, it was at that point that Sarah reached the front gate swiping her ID card against the fob reader the gate opened and she pulled it open reaching out and putting her hands on the wounded man it was at that point that she would have likely said ‘are you alright’ in that caring helpful voice Khun knew so well, it was also at this time that his teacher said. ‘Khun, it’s about time you sat down and stopped staring out of the window you have a lesson to focus on.’
Khun nodded slightly, he was right, it wasn’t his job to be focusing on what’s going on outside of the school during school hours, he was sure Sarah would call an ambulance and some police officers and the vehicle would be towed away by the end of this period. His eyes remained out of the window for a moment longer which was just enough time for him to see what had happened, the man that the receptionist had put her hands on had lunge in, seemingly taking a bite out of the woman’s neck causing her blood to spurt out onto the white car next to her staining it in red as Khun’s eyes open wide and he proclaimed at the back of the class “What the fuck…” his teacher immediately scolded him, regardless of who he was he wasn’t allowed to break the school rules which included using appropriate language on the school grounds, but he was dumbfounded what had he just witnessed…
“Yo… just come look at this…” he says softly to the class and his teacher behind him, the teacher immediately came over to the window as Khun stared out towards the crashed white car being stained with the blood of the receptionist who’d just been bitten by the strange man, who Khun didn’t know was a Zombie, from the outbreak at the medical facility across the road from Fujimi High School.
