It is call that for a reason. Seriouslyâ?¦ Now, this is just to cover grounds, so this isn't directed at anyone.
Rather, this is just so we're all following similar guidelines.​

This roleplay is literate to advance literate. I want to see at least three paragraphs when you post. Yeah, I understand writerâ??s block, but if you donâ??t know what to write, just write about something mundane and unimportant like your characterâ??s surroundings or something. I prefer quality over quantity; the three paragraphs are just to make sure you donâ??t get lazy on me.

Use the main thread, as itâ??s the OoC area. Please check back there to see if anyone had something to say, as we donâ??t want to clutter the RP with little {{xxx}} stuff. It distracts and takes away an impacting moment if someone was trying to get some drama in the scene.

o3. Activity »»»»
This is a big one! Please, please, please do not join and then not post at all. I do not expect you to be on 24/7, but try to post at least two times a week to let us know that youâ??re still alive, and helps the story keep going. Pausing leads to losing interest, and thatâ??s not fair to everyone else. If you donâ??t post for two weeks, havenâ??t notified me of absence, or have been finding time to post in other RPs except this one, you will be removed from the roleplay. With that said, please let me know if you decide to quit so people donâ??t wait on you to post. With that said as well, please be courteous and understand that posting as early in the week as you can, gives room for others to reply.

Now, I know we all know to stay away from this, but letâ??s make it clear on the limits for this RP, ok? Depending on whom youâ??re throwing across the room, if theyâ??re ok with your character doing that, then its fine. However, do not godmod as if you know what the other characters are thinking aboutâ??you can â??senseâ? their emotions, but donâ??t straight out and be like â??I KNOWâ?â??donâ??t suddenly knowing their secrets, and donâ??t assume what they would do or how they would feel/act.

No joke. The only characters in the roleplay that can say theyâ??ve mastered their magic/skills are the Queen of Light (dead) and the King of Darkness. Your character rank (see above in first post) is how strong you are compared to your comrades, so please stick to that. Makes sense, right? You only get higher up in rank if youâ??ve done something to prove so in real life, so letâ??s keep this realisticâ?¦with the mystical creatures and all. xD

o6. Keep your shit to yourself� »»»»
Iâ??m totally serious. This roleplay is going to get into sexual and violence, and while we donâ??t have a cap on violence, letâ??s stay away from the general dislikes.

In sexual context:
  • * Anything that deals with the bathroom should stay in the bathroom
    * Vore should be within limits of your character and a NPC (excluding the vampire thing)
    * Gore should stay within limits (no amputation, pulling out innards, etc)[/list:u]

¤ Once a great hero, along with the other three Knights, your name is now cursed and you constantly live in hiding. You are the eldest of the Knights and therefore make the decisions. You're more wiser then they are, but not necessarily smarter. Strong and brave, you fight for what is right and protect those you care about. You create the battle plans, and you're very good at it. Now, living in a state of dread with The Female Knight and the Youngest Knight, smoking is your haven. Every time you battle, there is a pain inside you that grows. You are unsure of what it is. It could be a great power that is yet to be released, or a great darkness that has yet to take over. There is only one who ever knew, that was the Queen. Now that she is gone you are on your own to find out. As the eldest knight, and the leader of the remaining group, you are responsible for holding things together. Despite your own pain, you press on and continue to support the others when you see that they need a shoulder to lean on. The element you have been blessed with, and which you have complete and total control over is Air. The very element of life. Swift and agile you're always the faster than your foe, and your movements are graceful and quick much like that of the traveling winds. You have the ability to whip up storms such as tornadoes and can use your abilities to mix with others and make attacks even stronger, or add it to your weapons to make your blade that much more sharper. You can even suck the air out of the surrounding to choke your enemy. You can also form wings around you to fly and be closest with your element. There are powers and strengths within you which you haven't been unable to unlock yet. With the help of the Amulet, you will be. You've sworn to kill the treacherous Knight. You're biggest weakness is small places.

á?¦ As one of the four Knights, you believe strongly in justice and peace and that is why you continue to fight to keep it. You were close to The Queen of Light. You left your family behind after renouncing your claim to the thrown, preferring to live a life of service rather than as a ruler. You have a great hate for the King of Darkness and the treacherous Knight that was once your friend. You've sworn to return peace to Marosia if it's the last thing you'll ever do, and you have sworn to protect all that you hold dear. Never again will you shed a tear of sadness and feel the regret of not being able to save someone you love. Much like the very element that's part of you, you have a very fiery and explosive temper. It takes the littlest of things to set you into a fiery rage. You're very unstable and dangerous at times that even the Eldest knight cannot control you. Fast and agile, you usually have the upper hand in a fight. You can set things on fire by simply touching it, or willing it. You can shape and form fire in many different ways to aid you in battle on offense and defense. You can also forge your weapons with fire to make them stronger. You are a long way from perfecting your control over this ability and using it to it's fullest power. The Eldest Knight believes that now with the amulet, you will be able to control your element. You try your hardest every day. Also, you have developed feelings for the Eldest Knight, but you are too scared to show it because you're scared of rejection. You're biggest weakness is water.

¤ Being the youngest of the knights, you don't voice your opinion often but you watch everything. You were the last to become one of the great knight's of Elzier. You believe strongly in fighting for peace and justice and despise everything that has to do with evil, as the other knights do. You're very caring and considerate and you don't like to see your friends upset or hurt and you try your hardest to protect the female knight because you know she can get out of hand quite a bit. Although you're kind and gentle by nature, you're element is lightning quite ferocious and powerful. You may be the youngest but you should never be underestimated. You have the power to summon the very wrath of the God's from the sky. Striking down your enemies as you chose. Your power is more useful for offense then it is defense wise.You tend to cover your weapons with electricity to make them stronger. Sometimes electricity is your only weapon. You've made an oath to return peace to the world once more, and you're extremely loyal to your two comrades. There isn't anything you wouldn't do for them.

You can be cold at times but if around the right people you can warm up as well. You have the potential to be kind and warm, but because of your past this isn't so. Being an elf you're very spiritual and you believe that everything has a spirit. You respect nature and care for it when you have time. Darkness has been spreading over the world and you're very displeased with it. You left the Elven kingdom of Hieronidan on your own mission to kill the King of Darkness. Realizing that it was a foolish decision, you turn to head back but you run into the three Knights. You've heard of them before, and in the Elven kingdom they used to be highly respected. You lecture them about their cowardliness and soon leave them. It wasn't o long after that you run into trouble and they come to the rescue you. They ask you to join them and you agree saying that you're not doing it for them but for the world. You control the very element of the Earth. You have unnatural strength and you've very tough. You can summon vines and plants to aid you in battle or to defend you in anyway possible. You also have the ability to heal yourself and your comrades.

In recent times, upon hearing of the knights being forced into the shadows to hide under the radar, you set out a goal to find them and join their quest. They are suspicious of you though, because it has been spread through word of mouth, that the King of Darkness has came to you and asked you to bring the heart of the Youngest Knight. ¤ You are the King of Darkness, the new ruler of Elzier taking your sisters place. Cruel and selfish, you will do anything to get what you want and kill anyone that stands in your way. For too long you've wanted power and you were finally granted it through your evil ways. You want to control the entire world and that's only possible with all four pieces of the amulets. You have only one of the four pieces. You are feared and respected. You're only respected because of the strength and power you possess. You don't' believe in mercy or justice, your word is law and if someone disobeys you they're killed on the spot. You have no time for useless emotions and pity. You take any woman you desire and encourage rape amongst your followers. Honor means nothing to you. You control the very element of darkness and everything that has to do with it. You can draw you powers from any darkness, even the smallest shadow. Using this power in any way shape or form that you please. Now that you have a piece of the amulet you were able to fuse your power with it to make you much stronger. There is no creature or being in the entire world that can defeat you. The only ones that would ever stand a chance or pose a threat to the great king are the Dragons and the group of misfits including the three knights,the mystic elf and the flirtatious vampire. You will do anything to kill them and collect the rest of the amulets.

¤ Once a great hero, along with the other three Knights, you decided to betray them and join the King of Darkness. You don't show regret to your decision. You feel that the King of Darkness is a stronger ruler and that he is doing thins better than the Queen ever did. Through the years you became much more cold and evil than before. Now, the right hand of the King, you do anything he orders you to do and you advise him when he asks for it. You abandoned all your feelings when you betrayed the Knights. Justice and peace mean nothing to you anymore. You abandoned everything you've ever known and have been sucked into a path of darkness, which your fine with. You are incredibly strong and none would dare stand against you without having a death wish first. You have been granted the title of General to the army of darkness by the King's command. You control the element of water. You can create massive and ferocious title waves out of seemingly no where. The water element is within you and you can create it at will. Whether your surrounding yourself with it for protection, creating various weapons for it or mercilessly drowning your opponents, you're deadly. You've yet to come up with all of the ways that you can use your powers, and you still have along way to go. Now with the guidance of the king, he has helped you to unlock new abilities and new found strengths. You're weakest in an area with low moisture in the air and around heat. You have a deep hate for the other knights, but especially for the eldest knight because he was always put in charge which is what you wanted.

á?¦ Born a Drow and raised as one, you were always taught to hate the high elves and anything good. Your family has always been evil and they've always been cruel. Your parents worked for the king of Darkness for most of their lives until they were killed by the elves. Seeking revenge you joined the King of Darkness in hopes that you would get your chance to have your revenge against the elves once and for all. You're a great hand to hand fight, fast and agile you're almost untouchable unless matched up against another creature who has impeccable speed. You're very greedy and envious, and the only thing that is wost than your blood lust is your lust for power. You want to be strong, and useful, so that you are not discarded by the King of Darkness. You are civil with all of your colleagues, treating them all with courtesy and respect. You are, however, close to no one, often preferring solitude. When fighting, you never let the enemy live. You make sure their dead. You control the element of ice. You can freeze your enemy with a simple touch, and if their weak enough, with a simple stare. You are able to cover your body in complete ice for protection, and you can create shards of ice to impale your victims. You're body has to be kept at low temperatures or else your powers will be useless. You're extremely weak against fire or any immense heat.

Growing up around other sea-faring races such as mermaids was difficult when they all had an astounding beauty you knew you could never match. Naturally anyway. Because of a growing sense of insecurity, you pursued studies of alchemy in order to be able to mix potions which you used, at first, for your own selfish gains. You're first task was to enhance and perfect your own looks. Along with the change in your looks, your personality changed. Insecurity gave way to a new found confidence and an extreme narcissism. To you, other people are merely playthings meant to be used in anyway you see fit. You do not believe in the light, and would much rather live in a world where you could do your deeds unhindered by such things as law and order, and therefore, use your powers for the darkness while paving a way for your own ambitions for the future. While you can not use magic, you are an extremely gifted Alchemist who specializes in mixing potions with various effects. Your potions can call, charm monsters, and enhance monsters, poison others, heal them, mask yourself and your allies in a cloud of smoke, and other things. While you work very well alone, when working with others, you are able to work your best having them cover your weaknesses while covering their own.

The females that you bed question your fixation on the Drunken Necromancer; your fixation is of anger and competitiveness. Not once in your encounters with the pure necromancer have you defeated him, thus, darkening your despise. Youâ??ve joined the side of darkness to gain more power, as your power already calls upon the darkness of your own heart. The King of Darkness annoys you, constantly sending you out on wayward missions that you care not for, but it does make you stronger, as much as you hate it. You often find yourself following your companions, or at least, heading towards similar goals, because the King of Darkness trusts no one. Malicious and sadistic, you canâ??t think of anything else but to prove that you are the best; rightly so as your intelligence surpasses most of your previous peers in strategic planning. You deceive those around you, but you always know exactly what you want, even if you appear â??unpredictableâ??. You are a powerful mage, capable of using any kind of magic, however, you are weak close combat. Your deception comes in the form that you are purely dark, but pretend to be of the lightâ??s side. You've spoken to the king of Darkness on several different occasions, only because he came to you. He's spoken of many alliances but you've refused several times informing him on each occasion that the dragons side with no one and that they would only fight if they had to. Deep down inside, you don't like the King of Darkness. The Queen of light was a friend of yours and she protected your people, but you don't voice your opinions because you chose not to show favoritism. You seek to understand why the Treacherous Knight betrayed the Queen of Light, and hold no hate for him as the Queen would not have wanted you to. You were very close to the Queen, and share a close relationship with the Youngest Knight and the Eldest Knight. You have the power to emit fire in both your dragon and human form. Exceptionally strong and skilled in fighting, it's very rare that anyone challenges a dragon because they would never win. You also have the power of flight, in your dragon form only however. As a dragon, you're very large. As a human, you have the perfect body of a female human and are claimed to be irresistible to many men. You have no mate, and chose not to for now. You try to help the small group of misfits whenever you can, it was you that saved them when they jumped out of the palace window's when the Queen was killed. Time will only tell if the dragons will enter the war, or remain forever neutral.

You get drunk quite often, which is why everyone just refers to you as the drunk. You're perverted to woman and usually end up on the other side of a slap. Although you're a foolish drunk, you're always a skilled warrior. You're a necromancer, which means, you summon spirits to aid you in fights, or for any other reason you desire. You're also good in hand to hand combat and you carry a weapon or two around. You're close to the spirits and you've felt their pain. You've had a few run ins with the group of misfits and the group of darkness, some friendly, some violent. You would rather not get involved in the war and the whole good vs evil thing. Though, eventually you know you will have to pick a side. Which side will you chose.

The battlefield was your cradle, and for most of your time in this world, it also served as your home. You wandered aimlessly from fight to fight, taking part in the Kapathian Wars that made the Cardinal Knight and even joining the ranks of the Dark Army after the King of Darkness established his iron rule in Lassadar. But you were different from the others around you, the mindless ones who joined the army and followed every single whim of the King. You dared to ask why, and in pursuit of those answers, you fled from the army and began to wander the world, to see if you could find answers to those questions. Fight for those who destroyed the order of the world, or with those who don't stand a chance of victory? You spend much of your time in your head, appearing to be rather aloof and oblivious to your surroundings. You rule the element of metal, and are able to harden your own body like armor, to turn yourself into a weapon. You are an ogre, physically strong, weak in spirit. While you are able to hold your own in a fight, you are at your very best when you work with other people. The fire that tempers steel is you greatest weakness.

In the world of Marosia...​
...the kingdom, Elzier, is said to be at the very center. Beautiful as it was, every kingdom is said to contain a tragedy. For this kingdom, the fell came in the form of the simplest fact of the lust for power, and the betrayal from within. The Elzierian army had the four strongest knights to lead it, branching off into their own elements, but together, they were undefeatable. The Queen had given them each an area to govern, so that they would return to her to with a report of the lands around them.

To the North was the Youngest Knight, said to have reached up into the heavens and brought down judgment upon those who had sinned in the form of destructing light. Stretching towards the South was the Female Knight, igniting the flame of justice that was said to reside within the heart of all in Elzier. To the West resided the Eldest Knight, protecting the Elves with the winds that many believed to carry the voices and spirits of Elzier. Spanning towards the East stood the Cardinal Knight, soothing the world with the healing waters that gave life and health. Together, they were the four pillars of Elzier and, in essence, the world. But just like any platform that was held up by pillars, they were doomed to the greatest weakness, for they would fall if not united.

The King of Darkness had known this, thus he had gone after one that had been predicted to have the weakest of hearts among the four. No one knew how he had lured the Cardinal Knight, a great hero that no one had expected to betray them. They said that the susceptible mind he possessed allowed the King to lure him with the promise of power and leadership. This knight was said to be of the blackest of heart that had been already lurking in the shadows, caving into the Kingâ??s will and immediately joining that side. They say he was so ugly and sickening that no one could gaze upon him without feeling the darkness eat away at their sanity.

On the night that the Queen had been assassinated, the story went as thus. The Cardinal Knight had joined in the usual meeting of the four knights, reporting to the Queen of Light about the situations of the world. A beloved son-like figure and savior of the Queen from a previous war, he had been trusted to near her in any way or form. Something that they had realized been the hardest form of betrayal. Wrapping his arms around someone they thought he saw as a mother, the Cardinal Knight drove the dagger of darkness deep into her body, corroding the light that resided from within. The Amulet of Marosia flared to life and exploded, sending four pieces into the scatters of the world. At the same time, the Queen was said to have fallen with a scream that pieced all that was within range to hear.

Another version was that when the Amulet had scattered, the King of Darkness reached out his hand and caught one of the pieces like a ball thrown at him, a stream of light flaring beyond his hand, even though he had caught the main object that the light had been designated for. The magic flared, and any lower being without as much power would have been destroyed. Four lights that flared outwards to the corners of the world, leading them to where they might be able to find the shard of the Amulet. Even the three knights did not know fully where the shards were; just a general direction that the lightâ??s path showed them. But even if they found it, the question remains on those who still believe them, lips; of which the three knights was pure enough to wield part of the Amulet?

As for the Queen? Her body flared into a glow of light, and they said that as she died, her body clung to the boy that she had raised by her own hands, only to be killed by his. What she had said to him, or had done, was left to be a secret that only the Queen of Light and the Treacherous Knight to know.

But the truthâ?¦well, only those who had been within the room, the Queen, King, and knights, knew what had truly happenedâ?¦ what had trulyâ?¦

Book 1 - The First Shard - P L O T
  • Left in ruins, the world of Marosia tries to survive under the King of Darkness' reign. The people wonders where the noble knights have gone, and while some blame them, some would open their homes for their protection. While the knights trek on the journey to where the first shard is said to have been sent (to the West, through the mazes and towards the Elves), it is rumored that the Treacherous Knight has been sent on a hunt for that shard as well. How many times will their paths cross roads? What dangers lie in the path towards the Western kingdom, and who will achieve the first known shard?[/list:u]

MAROSIA
  • The once peaceful world of Marosia has now become overrun by horrible beasts and demons all ruled by the evil King of Darkness. It is a world filled with chaos and many of the inhabitants have lost hope in it becoming a world of justice and peace once again.[/list:u]

    • The beautiful Kingdom of Elzier which resides high up on a pretty mountaintop right in the middle of the whole world. Once ruled by the great Queen of Light has now been taken over by the Evil King of Darkness. The Kingdom of Elzier influences decisions on the rest of the world..

        • The Capital of Mariosa, The Kingdom of Light blessed by the Queen of Light herself. During the Reign of Queen Cecilia von Kali, Elzier was a bustling hub of trade and culture, a land of peace and prosperity. Tragedy struck, and overnight, the peaceful kingdom was overrun and occupied by the forces of darkness, lead by none of other than King Vayne, the Queen's brother, and the King of Darkness. Hope, light, and other such things were stamped out in an instant. The forces of darkness gained control, and the very symbol of all that was good in the world was destroyed by one of the realms very own heroes. Elzier is a land of fear and death, where the executions of anyone foolish or brave enough to utter a word about how much better things were before the occupation of the Dark Army are carried out daily.[/list:u]

          [The Fort Cardina Monument]
          • Some time ago, what became known as the Kapathian Wars were staged. The forces of light and dark clashed in a furious battle that shook the Kingdom of Lassadar to it's very foundation. The fort was destroyed during the battle, but was rebuilt by the Queen as a tribute to those that died and a reminder of the past failure. Because of it's location on the boundary of the lands of Light and Darkness, many of those who are feeling from either side often hide out here since the forces of neither side have ever actively patrolled the area. Today, the fort is still used as a place for these 'squatters', but many people come to pay their respects to those who were lost during that battle. The Kapathian wars took place here five years ago. After a year of conflict, two years were spent rebuilding the fort.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

            [ North ]
            • In the northern parts of Marosia, there are high mountains and many caves. It is snowing everyday, all day. The temperatures in the north can get so cold that any being could die in mere seconds, warm or cold blooded. The Dragons, and a select few races are the only races who can survive these harsh conditions. This is where the powerful race of dragons reside.
              • [The Long Empire ]
                • The Lands of the North, covered in an eternal winter. Long is the Kingdom of Ice, and the home of the Dragons. The Dragon people have sworn neutrality in every conflict, fearing their interference would sway the world around them too much in either direction, however, their current ruler has been absent from her throne for some time. Currently, there is a council of elders who are in charge of managing the Kingdom in her stead. The lands of the North are treacherous lands, which make it difficult for any being other than dragons to dwell in. There are ways of getting around this extreme temperature, none of which would work for a large number of individuals. This land was guarded by the youngest knight, Brand de Zeus.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

                  [ West ]
                  • Land of forests and jungles. Its like a maze of sorts. The tree's that grow in these forests are monstrous. They reach high up in the sky, some are so high that you can't even see the tops of them. There are some who prefer to live high up in the trees. It's much safer living high up in the trees. It prevents people from getting lost in the mazes below and it keeps them safe from creatures that live on the ground. The West is ruled by the Elves.
                    • [Hieronidan ]
                      • A vast expanse of trees, wildlife, and the scattered settlements of the Elven people, Hieroidan is the Kingdom of Earth. The settlements of the Elven people are built into the landscape, highlighting the beauty that Mother Nature carved for them. Hieroidan is a kingdom that is, quite literally, built on the backs of the less fortunate. While the capital and many other cities are built up in the trees, there exists a world below where the poor and destitute are doomed to stay. As the people who live high up in the trees live in the lap of luxury, while those below endure long days of scavenging for food and water, and fighting to stay alive. The current leaders of the Elven people are afraid to make a move, as they fear drawing attention to themselves and becoming Vayne's next target. These lands were once guarded by the Champion Knight, Valen Al'yan Fel.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]
                            • [The Orange Fields][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]
                                    • A large field surrounding a city called Cam within the West. There is something going on within their land, but the Elves don't know what. The leaves are all a variety of orange, yellow, and red, giving the glow of orange and thus, it's name. Within Cam, there is another maze that is similar to the maze outside of the city.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]
                                      [ East ]
                                      • There is an abundance of water in the far East. There is so much water that people must live in high places or they would have no chance of survival. The East is ruled by the Aquatic beings.[/list:u]

                                        [ South ]
                                        • The south is mostly made up of long stretches of dry land. Rain is very rare in these parts and water has to be brought to the south on a regular basis or the people will die.The temperature can become extremely hot on some days, and remain normal other days. If someone from any race who isn't connected to fire in any way, they would burn almost immediately on the extremely hot days. The residents have built special homes which the heat cannot penetrate and where they can be safe. There is a lot of crime and poverty in this part of the world. Many different races live here.[/list:u]

                                          • The dark Kingdom of Lassadar which resides at the polar opposite of the Elzierian Kingdom. This area has been left a wasteland, as the evil King of Darkness has left this area to rule over the once great kingdom of light.[/list:u]

                                                    • A place known for chaos, confusion, and death. The Kingdom of Darkness. The King of Darkness brought order to the world, and made Lassadar a nation powerful enough to be respected before leaving to conquer Elizier. Make no mistake, the land is still as organized and functional as it was before, as the Dark Army sustains a considerable presence here. Order is maintained, and those who dare disrupt it are put to death. Such things have become a spectacle for the people, and serve as a harsh reminder that the King of Darkness is still the ruler over Lassadar even if he isn't physically there himself. The rule that was once held by brigands, bandits, and outlaws is now held by a mighty military that seems to be unrivaled by any other single nation.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

Here is a general ranking and description of the Dark Army. Hopefully they are descriptive and vague at the same time, so everyone has a chance to add into their descriptions during the roleplay. However, please stick to the general ideas of how each faction are portrayed.

Unit type: Irregulars â??
Description: Irregular forces are the lowest ranked infantry in Vayne's forces, comprised of cutthroats, assassins, mercenaries, and bandits whose loyalty lies more in the King's money and the fear of his power than the utter loyalty his standard troops show. Irregular troops are low ranking for a reason, they are a rabble, only using rushing and basic tactics in combat with no real uniform or ranking structure. Vayne often sends these troops in first to weaken the enemy and to lessen the casualties to his own side, he treats these soldiers like cannon fodder, reflecting his attitude towards mercenaries in general by letting them die in huge numbers in the battlefield, though he rewards them with successful battles by letting them partake in their animalistic desires and plunder and rape afterwords on targets he does not want to keep.
Difficulty: (Depends on numbers) Irregulars are a poorly trained rabble, only presenting a true danger in sheer numbers.

Unit type: Regulars â??â??
Description: The Rank and File of Vayne's troops, and the embodiment of his Dark Legions. Regulars make up the bulk of Vayne's troops, ranging in specialties from the lowliest privates to the officers who command them. Regulars differ from Irregulars in that their actions are driven by discipline rather than impulse, and their loyalties in the king lie in their duty to their ruler, wishing to further his goals even at the cost of their own lives.
Difficulty: Though Regular soldiers are as close to "Normal" as one can get in Vayne's army, most soldiers have trained for war since they were able to hold a blade or bow, they are not to be underestimated.

Unit type: Magus Corps â??â??â??
Description: A small division of magical specialists trained to support the king's regulars and elites from afar with spells, pounding their enemies with offensive spells and using defensive spells to shield their own troops from harm. The Magus corps is rarely called together unless they need to perform some kind of ritual, usually spread out through the ranks of the king's Regular forces.
Difficulty: Mages are strong from afar, slinging spells and casting buffs upon their fellows. However they fall quickly at close range, and are armed with staves to defend themselves. Battlemages are more dangerous, wearing armour and charging into battle alongside their allies.

Description: The best of the King's forces, the highest in skill and strength.
Difficulty: The Best of the Best in Vayne's forces... Elites are able to hold their ground and even rout the remaining forces of light in small groups. They are still mortal, but they are skilled and powerful.

Unit type: Blackguard â??â??â??â??â??
Description: Insidious figures that lurk always in the king's shadows. The Blackguard are mysterious dark paladins who defend their lord from any threats, external or domestic. Blackguard are impossible to tell apart, seemingly identical suits of sleek black armor with heavy robes cloaks covering their forms, and dark, terrifying helmets and hoods concealing any possible trace of identity. No one save the king knows who the Blackguard truly are, souls of old heroes, corrupted to darkness, or even demonic warriors who have bound themselves to the king.
Difficulty: Blackguard are possibly the most deadly foes our heroes will face in their journey, armed with magic and combat skill that balances each other out. Their strengths are just under the King's commanders. The Blackguard may only be encountered if the heroes attempt to face the king himself in his fortress in Lassadar. They are not to be taken lightly, for they are the ones chosen to protect the King. However, they will likely remain passive unless the king wills it.

  • Homo sapiens. They age a bit more slowly than we do, and can become stronger than we ever could. Phear 'em, for they have porn. 8\[/list:u]

    • The first born. They're hippies, very spiritual and live close to the land.[/list:u]

      • Elves who got tired of other elves and went to live elsewhere. They got darker. Are rules by women rather then men.[/list:u]

        • Mermaids and Mermen, people who are half sea-creature half human. They can breathe underwater and on land, but fare better in the water. They can cast magic to turn their lower halves into legs so that they can walk the land.[/list:u]

          Sirens
          • An all female race of sea fairing maidens who are much more beast like than their mermaid cousins. Most are outcasts in the land of the east, and torment the fairer of the races for enjoyment. Also high on their list of past times is crashing the ships of men into rocks.[/list:u]

            • Powerful lizards that can breathe fire ( or whatever element they are of ), are capable of using magic to turn into humanoid forms.[/list:u]
