The Tavern Character Thread

[Kilani]

A tavern at a lonely crossroads, a meeting place for all types; all different but each seeking something similar, a hot meal, a comfortable bed or a warm embrace. The building is wood and stone, the front room large and warmed by a massive fireplace. The kitchens are always bustling, as serving girls spirit food and drinks back and forth. Upstairs rooms are available, just tuck a coin in the Tavern Keepers hand and he’ll give you a key in return.

This tavern is known as a neutral area. All weapons and vendettas are to be left at the door. Break the peace and you’ll be removed by force.

Bio and Description: A blond-headed, grey-eyed thief, easily bored and then easily amused, he spins lies and stories at the drop of a hat. He sports a lithe body, hidden beneath layers of ragged brown clothes. Watch your belongings or they won’t belong to for much longer. If you can’t manage to entertain him, he’ll be taking that gold ring thank you very much.

Bio and Description: Erin Ursas does not do small. She’d tall and muscular, a warrior born and bred. A mercenary hailing from north, her battleaxe does most of her talking for her. Though she’s more than happy for you to buy her a drink and maybe she’ll tell you all about the frozen north and her father’s clan. Brown hair is cut short and her blue eyes see right through you.

Bio: D'joo travels the world as mercenary gatherer in search of rare herbs and ingredients required for potions and cures. The long dusty road led her to this tavern, checkpoint on her map, before resuming her apparently endless task.

Character Name: Dark Angel

Gender: Male

Description: He stands 5'5". He has long kangaroo-like ears and a kangaroo-like muzzle. He has a black nose and pale lavender eyes, which are usually covered with sunglasses due to his light blindness. His body is covered in an orange-yellow fur (roughly the color of strained peaches), except for his tail. His tail is virtually fur-less and is segmented like a rat's. It's gray and long - 14 ½' to be exact. But instead of coming to a point, it comes to a flat end that's pink where it had been cut many years ago, indicating it either was or could've been much longer. He's got a mouthful of pointed, razor sharp, shark-like teeth. His actual species is unrecognizable as he is a hybrid of some sort. But what's even stranger of all is his scent. His scent is a mixture of not only blood and death, but also that of both a male's musk and a female in heat.

Bio: He was born on the outskirts of a far away kingdom where inbreeding ran rampant. Due to this trend, every so often a baby is born unlike any other. What makes this child so unique is that it is born with a bloodlust and sheer lack of any emotion. These rare occurrences have dubbed these babies 'Grave Diggers' and thus are usually terminated as soon as it's discovered one of them exists. He was one of these babies. However, instead of being terminated, his parents saved him hoping they could prove that these beings do indeed have emotions and thus can be changed. And for a time, they had. But then it was discovered that there was a Grave Digger amongst the town and the king had a neighboring village raid and destroy all who lived there. And most were destroyed. However, one greedy person saw the unique child and decided to keep him, locking him in a dark basement. His rough treatment led to the awakening of his bloodlust and the desire to kill. At the first chance he got he escaped, slaughtering the family who took him as well as anyone else in his path. But, despite being a mass murderer, he is not as he seems. The question remains, however, is there anyone willing to get near such a creature to find out what he's really like?
