Jasyn couldn't remember the last time he let himself really slip out for an evening of fun, it seemed as though it had been ages. Long fingers pushed through the haphazard black hair that fell across his forehead, the lightly sun-kissed skin paired with bright green eyes left him looking exotic. Granted, his more natural appearance was far more boring, pale skin with a head full of wild dark hair and pale grey eyes were nothing to boast of. This look however? It was a look for when he was on the prowl and searching for a good night.
There were several bustling bars and even a club around the block he could choose to use but the one on main street with an old town rustic feel and warm atmosphere had caught his attentions. Pushing through the front door Jasyn scanned the establishment, checking for any familiar faces or previous ex's before smiling when he found himself surrounded by the busy weekend crowd of unfamiliar strangers. He could get lost easily in a place like this. His hand shifted his jacket down, shoulders rolling softly to let it fall around his wrists before draping it across his lap as he hopped onto the bar stool and asked for a beer. Jasyn spun around on the stool then while he waited on his drink, scanning the crowd again, this time looking to see if anyone peaked his interests.
Jasyn's particular abilities left him with a wide array of choices, able to form and mold himself easily to fit himself into the perfect dream of anyone he persued. It also granted him an endless supply of possible first impressions. If he ended up botching his first attempts with someone a quick change of clothes and new face and he had a second chance, he rarely did that though, usually finding it felt cheap and...wrong. Then again, his sense of morals weren't always commendable, often using a change of appearance to avoid someone who had grown too attached or clingy.
Jasyn smiled and winked when the bar tender extended him his beer before he turned back to the bar top and fiddled briefly with the napkin that had been laid out as a coaster, watching it capture the water droplets that formed on the outside of the chilled glass as they slipped down to soak into the soft paper. It wasn't as though he disliked the idea of something long term or even a partner wanting to be slightly posessive over him, but it always ended the same...when they found out about his abilities they either freaked and ran screaming which left him broken hearted and uprooting his life to relocate somewhere new...or they became controlling and dictated how he should look every minute of their time together-forcing him into catering their every desire with instant gratification. He had no issues with changing his appearance for fun, fullfilling someone's long held fantasies on occasion, but the level of control he had experienced with some of those men had him feeling like a toy they wanted to use only to get pissed when he refused to play along.
One night stands were safer, easier and a lot more fun. It didn't take emotional investment, there was no risk of needing to relocate or of anyone's heart being broken as it always came to an end before it got that far. The anomnyty that it offered comforted him, and he knew it was in that he was safe.
