The first day of winter break. Beautiful. At least that is how she thought it was, she did not know of the impending storm just over the horizon. She was just looking forward to spend it with her older brother. It had been while since she could spend time with just her brother, school took up most of her day and when she got home her parents had her doing home work. Finally they were alone, there parents taking off for a week on vacation. Faye loved her parents but them being gone was a good break, when they were around they pushed her to do things and that made her very tired.
Faye smiled gently as she sat up, wearing only a pink night gown. She rubbed her arms and sighed. "Cold." She said to herself. Why in the world did she wear such a thin nightgown. She shrugged and grabbed her black robe and wrapped it around herself. Faye slowly walked to the door and opened it looking out at the snow covered ground. "It is so nice out." She said quitely. Faye tucked a peice of her long hair behind her left ear. A small smile on lips. She was planning to spend her whole day with her older brother.
The girl combed out her bluish hair and tied it back before going to the kitchen. She decided to cook today. She did know how to make breakfast. The bright eyed girl wanted to make her brother a nice breakfast. The 16 , soon to be 17 year old was happily frying some bacon as she hummed. She was proud to be doing something that would make her older brother happy with a nice amount of food. Faye was very indeed happy. She could not help it. She was closer to her brother then she was to her mother and father.
