It was a night of partying, some drinking and a lot of fun as Jennifer sat down on the couch waiting for her best friend. The young 17 year old girl had wavy brown hair that reached down to her shoulders and deep blue eyes that could be close to the color of the sky. She was dressed casually in a dark blue T-shirt and tight jeans along with a pair of black Uggs boots that she slipped the bottom of her pants legs underneath. If she was standing, she would look to be about 5 foot 5 as she held her drink in hand while everyone else was conversing around her.
She would say hi to a few of her friends that passed by, give out a few toasts in their anticipating graduation and generally having a good time. Dance music seemed to softly blare from the stereo in the living room as there were also a few guests outside. There was one person that she waited for... her best friend. She could remember being with her best friend for as long as she could remember. Sharing good times along with the bad, it seemed that they were inseparable, but that was until the boyfriend came into the picture. Though the party seemed to be in full swing, she never noticed any reason why her best friend would be late. She hated the fact that her best friend had a boyfriend as she hoped that he wouldn't make it to the party.
Still, hoping for the best, she waited for her best friend to arrive... whenever she could make it or find a way to escape from the boyfriend even if it was just for a little bit of time.
