Max thumped his tail against the cage floor impatiently. It had been months since he'd been stuck in here, and he was getting tired of just sitting around. He heard the other pets-to-be-sold scratching at the doors or whining, just as impatient as he was. He hoped someone would walk in soon, though it seemed not many people knew of the store at all.
