So...I do need to ask. I have had so many people either never reply, or stop talking to me abruptly, that I need to ask if it really is me, or if I am not getting some PM's for some reason. It probably is just they are not interested, but it is so often and sometimes happens so abruptly, I need to ask.

Can potentially be a bit of both. The current PM schema is horrifically done and we'll be moving away from MyBB eventually for that sole reason.

A followup or checkup PM can usually get past this or clarify things.

Vekseid; I actually rather like the current PM setup. Will the new PM software have similar features? In particular, PM tracking? I find PM tracking to be a highly useful thing. I also like the PM alerts as well.


tailspin31; unfortunately, the answer to your question is that it's not you, it's just that most partners you've been getting are flakey. There's really no way around this or any solution to it, you just have to keep finding new partners. But yeah, followup/check-in PMs can help sometimes.
