Lucian Hadrianos
Adventurer of the Dread Sea Dominions
Imperial male, 24 years of age
Lucian is a handsome Imperial man in his early twenties, possessing a straight nose, strong chin and flashing grey eyes. He is tall (6' 1") and well built with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He his olive skin which is tanned bronze and has shoulder length brown hair, which is often fastened with a cord either about his forehead or securing the hair at the back of his neck. His face is usually kept clean shaven.
Lucian roams the Dominions making his living as a sellsword and an adventurer. Always after the next lead of work or a rich score there is little he won't do in the name of profit. He seems to enjoy seeking out peril and causing trouble through he does possess a stubborn heroic streak. He sometimes dreams of a rich or legendary score that would allow him to restore the faded halls and holdings of house Hadrianos but more often then not his spoils go to keep him in comfort.

The noble line of Hadrianos
Hadrianos had been a name long distinguished within the Iron Empire. This noble linage began humbly when Hadrian a braze soldier was elevated to noble rank, granted land and title in recognition of his skill and heroism during the 'Conquest of Zandor' circa 1840AF. The line of Hadrianos served the Empire for generations as soldiers, generals and even governors and as the Empire prospered so too did the house of Hadrianos, with interest and holdings throughout the Empire. The fortunes of the house were much reduced in 2451AF when the Emperor refuses to support Zandor against the Valk invasion and many riches and holdings were abandoned in the region as the House fled to Syranthia ahead of the Valk hordes. Afterwards Hadrianos, like the Empire, was a shadow of its former self clinging to the wealth and comfort offered by its remaining holdings in Syranthia and the port city of Askerios.
However in 2499 the true fall of Hadrianos had started. It begin when the patriarch, Drusus Hadrianos, died mysterious before an important trade deal in Askerios. Control of the house reverted to his younger brother Saulos. Saulos engaged in a whirlwind of excesses which compounded with his failed business ventures and ever growing gambling debts decimated the fortunes of Hadrianos by 2502.
However in 2499 the true fall of Hadrianos had started. It begin when the patriarch, Drusus Hadrianos, died mysterious before an important trade deal in Askerios. Control of the house reverted to his younger brother Saulos. Saulos engaged in a whirlwind of excesses which compounded with his failed business ventures and ever growing gambling debts decimated the fortunes of Hadrianos by 2502.

Lucian was taught reading, writing, arithmetic, history and swordplay as a young noble in house Hadrianos. However when he was 13 his father was murdered and control of the house transferred to his shiftless uncle Saulos. In mere three years Soulos had squandered the family fortune and was forced to sell the remaining holdings to pay off his stunning debts.
At the age of 16 Lucian took the family blade from the treasury before it could be sold and went out into the world eager to make his fortune, but with little idea how to really do so. He soon signed on with the 'Five Blades' mercenary band and served with the company for several years.
For the last few years Lucian has wandered on his own taking what jobs come his way and occasionally engaging in risky treasure seeking ventures into the many dangerous ruins.
