Michael was on the plane pulling up his speech on his laptop. His stewardess offered him a glass of scotch or whiskey and he took the whiskey. He looked out the window as he shut his laptop and studied the whiteness of the earth. It was Late November and snow had settled around him like a cold blanket enveloping everything. It was quite peaceful from above, but he knew it was going to be short-lived. His plan was landing in ten minutes, so he buckled his seat belt and relaxed inside of his private jet as he felt the nose dip toward the ground. He was landing in Raleigh, North Carolina this morning around 8 a.m. so he could deliver a speech to his old high schools graduating class. He was wanted to say no, but he thought it’d be nice to see some of his old friends who are supposed to be attending with him. He felt the tires of the plane hit the runway and the plane jerked backwards as they raised the flaps to generate more resistance to slow the plane down. They pulled into a terminal he reserved for today and tomorrow. He was planning on staying the night and leaving in the morning since he had cleared his schedule for the remainder of the week to have some vacation time to himself. He finished off his glass and got up to exit the plane. “Jessica, have Bernard take my bags to the hotel. I think I’m going to drive The Genie to the event at school.” He spoke with a professional voice.
The Genie was a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. Valued at over five and a half million it only came sans roof. So it wasn’t smart to drive it in the rain, but today looked like it be sunny all day. He climbed down the steps of his jet slowly looking at the airport that was so familiar to him. It’s been eight long years since he left. He watched as one of his staff pulled around The Genie and stepped out to give him the keys. He grabbed his keys and gave the young boy his thanks and hopped into the car and drove off. He drove in what he thought was a random choosing, but soon came to realize he was sub consciously he was reliving his live here. He passed his first home, then his first school, and so on reliving each memory in his head. Finally he reached the high school he graduated form and his memories began to turn sower. He remembered the bullying that took place here. The heartache, just thinking about heartache alone was enough to bring back the worst. But he didn’t dare think of her. Not now. “She’s probably long gone anyway.” He muttered to himself as he parked his car. He wasn’t like he used to be back then. He was a nerd who wasn’t more than 90 pounds wet. His eyes looked large behind his this glasses. These days he put on more weight and toned it to his liking. He has laser vision correction surgery so his sight was better than most his age. His steel grey eyes could woo almost any woman he tried them on. His hair had grown darker as he grew older turning a jet black color. He knew he was a very attractive man, and he knew how to use it. He climbed out his car and went in to visit the schools Administration Office. As he walked he straightened his Alexander Amosu Vanquish II Bespoke suit. He began to think he over did it wearing a suit that cost more than anyone in this place makes a year. But he dismisses the idea and walks in to sign in as a guest and he immediately recognized the receptionist. She was here when he attended, “Damn, I can’t believe someone would stay that long” he thought to himself. He got his guest badge and walked toward the auditorium where he was supposed to give his speech, and that’s when he caught a glimpse of her. Tessa.
