Kevin was one of those big guys who most people assumed were all muscle and no brain. He was 6'4" tall, broad build, muscular, with short black hair and hazel eyes that usually were quite focused. This definitely seemed true at some times, but not always. He was not book smart, but he had abilities to think outside the box. That, matched with an amazing memory made him very skilled with certain things.

He was studying to become a police officer. While he studied, he was working as a security guard for a wealthy family. However, he often spent time studying until he showed up late to work. He never intended to be late, but it often happened. His bosses would then yell at him, making him flustered for the first ten minutes of his shift. He was always looking for a better job, but nothing came up. He couldn't wait until he became a police officer and could solve crimes as a detective. That was his ultimate goal.

Cooper didn’t sound like a name that would belong to a girl. Much less a stealthy one. But Cooper Lee was one of the most notorious thieves known in the underground society. She’d stolen famous paintings, famous artifacts, she’d robbed the largest museums. The girl was good, there was no doubt about that. Every time she stole something, she made sure it was more valuable, more well-known, more precious and more dangerous.

Her next object of interest was the “Adair Diamond”. A large mineral that had been carried down through the Adair family for ages.
The largest diamond in the world and all hers for the taking.

Cooper slid into a window on the top of the floor, sporting a skin tight black pants and shirt. It molded to her thin, athletic shape perfectly. Her dark brown hair was pulled up into a tight bun, bangs out of face, making sure not to obscure her slanted eyes. She needed everything to be perfect for this…

Once again, Kevin was late to work. He ran through the door, nearly colliding with his boss. Mr. Adair stood there, much shorter and smaller than Kevin, but acted as if he was seven feet tall. He didn't waist a second before yelling at Kevin for once again being late. It was only three minutes this time, but that was three minutes for which he was not going to get paid. He was also getting three minutes less break.

Kevin tried to get his head together as he put his thigns away in the guard room. He straightened up his uniform and made sure he had everything. He then started his rounds. His mind wasn't in the right place. It would take him a few minutes. He moved to the upper floor and went through the rooms. He entered one of the less used rooms and first saw the open window, which was strange. That window was never open. He reached over and turned on the light so he could see properly inside the dark room.
