Trouble Deleting My Threads

So, I'm trying to go through all of my old request threads and delete them, sort of do my bit to tidy the site up, but I've come up against a road block: namely, I don't seem to be allowed to delete any of my old request threads. Is this an issue anyone else is experiencing? Is it just a feature of the site? Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

Regular members can not delete threads, lock, move or merge threads. You have to message a mod about it and ask them to do it as well as provide links.

You're welcome. Please do note that we rarely delete things, it'll most likely just be locked down. And if it comes to RT when compiling them make sure there are no more than 2 open RTs in that section as each member is allowed only 2 active RTs per section.
