In the large forest, there was a small elven village that was remotely hidden from all society. No civilization outside was ever able to find them in this thick and deceptive forest, and it seemed that would stay the same. They acted as somewhat of caretakers of this forest, making sure no disturbances threatened it or their village. There was also a popular rumor going around the village of a divine being that was said to guard the entire forest, however it was nothing more than a myth. Nobody had seen this creature, though some had claimed to have gotten a glimpse of it. Maya, a young elven girl did not believe in this rumor at all. At 18 years old, she had a very fine figure and natural beauty. She had long golden hair and hazel eyes. She wore a simple cloth shirt and a leather skirt and boots. Unlike most of the young adults and adults, she chose not to learn any sort of weaponry for any reason. Instead, she had chosen to reveal that this rumor that everyone believed was not true at all. She set off for the area was it was claimed to have appeared, finding that not a lot of sun was coming through the trees, making it much cooler in this area. there was a little stream nearby, so she decided to just rest there for now.
