It was a wonderful day perfect for hunting. hounds were out hunting like always and that meant bad news to the hunting foxes as they ran around trying to gather food for there wives and children. It was nice out so they were being as sneaky as they could so not to be shot at by anyone around the area. All the foxes wanted were to get food so they could live but the hounds never let that happened they always hunted them down and tried to kill them.

Male foxes were the hunters but Fina was not male but she had no man to hunt for her so she had to hunt for herself. Fina was out hunting though she was not good at the hiding part of it. Looking around she got close to the ground in her fox form and started to sniff out her food for the day.
 
Krad was out, his long hunting rifle in his hands. There was already two phesants slung over his back, but he wanted somthing bigger. He saw the flash of red-orange fox fur, and stepped behind a tree, watching.
He saw it again and lifted his gun, pointing it in the direction of the movement.
 
Fina was trying to be as sneaky as she could but she was having trouble doing so since she kept standing up over the grass. Soon she found a mouse she was going to try to get. She moved close to the ground and started to stalk her pray as she moved closer still not being very quiet and smooth about it.
 
He knew right where it was. His barrel was level with the figure he saw through the leaves. He watched it chase something, slowly comming into view, out in the open.
 
Fina tried to get the mouse but it ran away so she sat there trying to think of what to do now. She was hungry but was not good at catching food. This was a mans job and well she had never hunted in her life.
 
He squeezed the trigger and blinked as the gun went off. He watched the fox tail twich and fall over as he stepped out from behind the tree. He waited a moment then went to his kill.
 
Fina let out a yelp as she fell to the ground when her leg was shot. Her body slowly changed into a human looking form with fox eats and a fox tail. She laid there holding her wounded leg well whining. It hurt and she did not know what had happened as her world started to get dizzy from the look of her own blood.
 
He was suprised to come upon a girl like this. He dropped his gun and knelt beside her, pulling out a towel and pressing it to her leg. He put his arms under her and lifted her up. She was small enough to carry easily, and he didn't wait to take her back, making sure to stop the bleeding in her leg.
 
Fina started to shack some was she was lifted up bu the man. She was scared truly scared but she was trying to calm down. She would of struggled and tried to get away but the pain was to much for her and she was dizzy from the sight of her own blood so she let out a whimper as she was carried away.
 
He took her home and layed her by the fireplace as he tended to her wound. After it was cleaned and wrapped he sat beside her. "Can you understand me?" He asked, never seeing a creature like this before.
 
Fina watched as Krad tended to her wounded leg. He seemed to be very gentle towards her witch relaxed her. "y-yes" She said softly to his question. She could understand him though she had trouble sometimes.
 
"How does your leg feel?" he asked, looking at the bandage. He got up and grabbed a glass of water, handing it to her as he sat back down.
 
"you shot me what do you think." She said then looked at the bandaged leg then the water. "no i have to go hunting." She said not wanting the water when food was more important.
 
"I know..." he said looking at her leg as well. "Just sit still, you're too hurt to do anything right now." he tossed a small log into the fireplace, the flames crackleing as it hit the other red hot coals.
 
"but i have to go hunting." She said then started to try to get up. She was not doing a good job at it as she was trying to stand up her pale naked body reflecting some of the fire light.
 
He lifted her up gently and brought her to the couch, laying her down against the coushins. "You rest. I'll bring you food if you'd like." he said covering her up with a blanket.
 
Fina gasped as she was picked up and carried to the couch then put down on the soft cushions. She relaxed as she laid there then nodded and said "Please."
 
He went away to the kitchen, comming back a few moments later with some milk and bread. He sat beside her and handed her the cup, setting the bread on her lap.
 
Fina watched as he left then watched as he walked back into the room with a glass of milk and some bread. She happily took the glass of milk and started to drink from it. After the milk was gone she looked around for somewhere to put the glass.
 
He took it from her and set it on the side table. "That better?" He asked, seeing her chug the milk.
 
"Thank you" She said then started to eat the bread. She finished that really quickly like she had not eaten in a while and well she had not found food yesterday so she did not eat yesterday so she was rather hungry.
 
"So how are you feeling little one?" He asked, gently stroking her fox ears. "Would you like anything else?"
 
"better but my leg still hurts." She new it would keep hurting for a while but she did not like it she was not good with pain. She smiled as her ears were stroked she liked how that felt it was soothing. "may i have some more bread?" She asked.
 
"Sure." he said getting up. He came back with the rest of the loaf, and handed her a couple slices. "Have as much as you want."
 
Fina watched him then took the couple of slices that were handed to her "Thank you" She said before she started to eat again.
