This is the OOC thread for the Lunar Academy for the Gifted. The Lunar Academy is a special college where those with different abilities can expand on them and learn to control them while also preparing for the rest of the world. Here you can post your character Profiles and address problems and issues. I ask that you keep things civil while addressing such problems so that it can remain fun for all. All types are accepted, both types of people and sexual preferences. For now, it'll focus on the students, however if enough people request for teachers then it'll be adjusted to accommodate for them. Rules:

01) You cannot kill another character without having arranged it with the other person first
02) Please post at least twice a day in the main thread, or at least have a good excuse, writer's block is acceptable
03) Keep OOC in this thread
04) Please don't misspell too many words, Firefox has a built in spell check, USE IT.
05] Please keep fighting to a MINIMUM, drama is encouraged but please don't go around starting fights.
06) Have fun with it.
07) No godmod, powerplay, and etc everyone has a limit to them and a weakness.
08) Please try to keep the posts to a minimum of a paragraph. An occasional one liner is fine but please try not to make it a habit
09) I may change these rules, check up on them every once in a while.

Bio: Jessie had been considered a freak in her schools growing up because of the powers she possessed. It often got her in trouble though half the time, she was let off because of the teachers being unable to prove how she did it since they didn't believe in magic. Her parents were relieved to find out about the academy after she got out of high school since they knew their daughter would finally have somewhere to fit in. She's very studious and a fast learner.

Bio: A young albino girl, some believed that she was cursed. Because of her conditions she tends to stick to the shade and carry a parasol, she is a longer and tries to keep to herself, she doesn't have many friends and people tend to think she is a freak and make fun of her. She is an avid book worm and is actually quite shy around other people. She hates it when she is picked on but she doesn't stand up for herself believing that would make the situation worse, she has never had a boyfriend and believes that she never will. Her home life is chaotic, she is currently living in her 3rd foster home and believes that it won't be long until she is living in her fourth.

Bio: He was born on the united states, ever since he was little he developed a intelligence far more than any male his age. He also had a talent that he kept secret, he somehow could talk to machines and understand the most complex machinery with only few seconds of touching it, that made him a very devious child, he could steal money off the ATM by just touching it and make the machine miss the tape of the event. He could also pilot a very difficult airplane by just touching it, he became a hero when he landed a plane, the pilots had a hearth attack so he had to pilot the plane. Ever since that time he was picked up by school and started to study and develop his abilities.

Bio: Masako is the daughter of Aphrodite and recently sent down to earth from Olympus after the deitic power faded due to a lack of worshippers. Now being made to study how regular people live and try to mix in with them.

Name: Mr. Maddox. No known first name. Simply called "Maddox" by other faculty.
Age: Mid-twenties

Abilities/Weapon(s): A vast amount of magical prowess, mostly revolving around spatial magic and the like. Largely used for immobilization, though he has a number of high powered energy attacks, and minor enchantment. Above average physical prowess, only because of his magic. Utilizes a meter stick as a weapon.

Appearance(Feel free to post a picture) Dark hair, always mussed, with blue/gray eyes, bags always underneath these eyes. Slight in appearance, though rather tall, and despite rarely being seen outside, he sports a bit of a tan.
Dress style: Ill-fitting and rundown suits. Perpetually rumpled and wrinkled, even if the clothing in question is new.
Bio: Not very much is known about this strange man, at least to the students. It is unknown at what point he gained his position, but he is a fixture at the academy. An oddball to the students, it is known only that he came across a fount of energy known as the "Truth" at some point, granting him vast magical ability beyond a human level, and it is only natural that he became a teacher. Rumored to be something of a lech.

Dress style: She tends to dress very feminine tight shirts and thigh length skirts the normal for her.
Bio:
Susanna was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, USA. Not the best of places to grow up in, she lived on the neutral ground between the two biggest gangs on the east coast, the Bloods and the Crypts. Although this sounds horrible it really wasnâ??t that bad, remember I said the neutral ground.

She always enjoyed music her parents had never seen a child more enthralled by Mozart, Ravel, or Handle. By the age of six she had realized she had the power to touch sound in away no one else seemed too, and so she explored it.

At twelve she had already learned a few things about his gift, so far she had only been able to focus sound that was already around herself, she figured â??anyone can make sound,â? snapping her fingers , â??so thatâ??s not specialâ? and so thinking she focused on controlling sound, perhaps losing a part of her gift in the process.

She had made a few mistakes along the path of learning her gift the one that left her scared for life happened on her tenth birthday, she was working on focusing sound into her ears, but this had gotten old fast it was just the same thing she had been doing only a different focus, and so her mind wondered. Thatâ??s when she did it, she let the sound go faster and more compact then normal and she sliced his cheek open, not deep but lets say her focus became clear in a instant.

It wasnâ??t long after that her parents were contacted by the Lunar academy and soon she was on her way to the school just to learn what she could about others like her and her own gift.

Dress Style: Goth
Bio: Daemon Baine is the son of an unholy union between a creature from the lower regions of hell and a daughter of Eve. He has a criminal record and is known at the school to be a bit of a freak and someone you don't want to mess with. It is rumored he has killed someone, though no one actually knows if it is true. He is the lead singer of a rock band, and if people actually talked to him, they would see that he isn't such a bad person. Expect when his demonic side comes out. He had many fangirls that stalk him and break into his room. He is actually terrified of them, that if he made a friend or got a girlfriend that they would hurt that person. Add that with his demonic side and you get someone who tends to stick to themselves.
