"Ugh." The chill of the night air drew a shiver from the young, a faint sigh slipping out of her lips. The sun had long since gone, and now all Renette had for light were a couple of dim street lamps. She knew that this part of town wasn't exactly known for being accommodating, especially to a young woman, yet she didn't have much of a choice. She'd already missed the last train, and her apartment was a tad bit too far for walking alone. All she could hope for was that the bus would arrive sooner rather than later, and that she wouldn't end up drawing any unwanted attention.
Renette was a young woman, in her mid-twenties. A new teacher she'd been forced to stay late at the school, helping out at a few clubs and grading papers she'd unfortunately put off. Clad in a button-up shirt and slacks, with a simple coat thrown over that, it was easy enough to see that the woman had been blessed as far as appearances went. Smooth, milky skin complimented shoulder-length hair that was as smooth as silk and as black as the night. Dark blue eyes wandered up and down the street, lips forming a faint frown.
"Where are you...?" The bus had to arrive soon, right?
