A little about me I guess... I'm female. I have too much time on my hands and I don't know what to doooo with myseeeelf. Really though at this stage in my life I have a lot of time to myself (and my cats) so that makes me a good person to RP with if you like at least one quality response per day. I've been RPing on and off since I was twelve. I'm 23 now. Why Styx? Because my parents raised me right, you filthy animal.
I can do short or long term role plays as long as my partner and I can keep things interesting. I like to mirror what the person I am RP'ing with is putting out, but my posts can range from one to four paragraphs depending on what's goin' down. All I ask is that you can use proper punctuation and grammar and that you can string a coherent sentence together. Typos are understandable and I won't be coming after you for your mistakes (I make plenty), but if your posts are too difficult to read then I will have to leave the roleplay. One paragraph minimum is what I tend to ask for from RP partners, but more is obviously welcomed.

Nothing is worse than someone not putting in enough effort because they are bored/busy. Please let me know if this is happening! I understand that everyone here is living a life off of the internet and I also know that RP's can run their course and die out. I would say I'm a pretty laid back person when it comes to scrapping entire role plays or starting fresh. If you aren't having fun then neither am I. Also, if we happen to correspond well, discuss ideas, and have a generally pleasant back and forth going on and then you decide to drop off the face of the planet and never talk to me again, I will consider you to be a bag of dicks.

This is where I will lose the majority of people who are looking for a female to RP with. I don't RP as your typical lithe, submissive, sexy, mewling kitty cat fantasy girl or whatever it is you're looking for. Most of my characters can and will be a mixture of independent, sassy, imaginative, strong, independent, creative, nurturing, etc. Some of them will be more or less mature than others, but this does not mean they need a man or powerful figure to tell them what to do/make them "feel like a woman". The females I play are anywhere between 16 and 50 so there's clearly going to be different maturity levels and some of them will even be childish and stubborn in their ways. Like real people! Imagine that!
I suppose what I'm saying is that if you're looking for a 1950's housewife type, I'm not your gal. Build a time machine and go back to a place where you can exact your Don Draper or Christian Grey fantasy onto some poor person who can't say no. Or go watch porn. Damn. Just don't talk to me.
When it comes to sexual relationships in my RPs I tend to prefer the slow buildup than the actual "fucking" part. I love tension, intrigue, foreplay, and twisty turns. Of course this isn't me saying I'll just be like "nope!" when the time comes to get it on, it's just that I like the fun and sometimes quirky things that happen before. I relish in them. I like stories of forbidden attraction, seduction, or simply falling in love over time. My characters can be dominant, submissive, or switch. I also want to make it clear that being submissive in the bedroom is entirely different from being submissive outside of the bedroom. Some of the females I play can be submissive in the bedroom - it isn't something I've entirely ruled out - but they will still kick your ass if your character tries to challenge them or blur those lines between sexy time and reality. A woman can like having her hair pulled with two fingers in her ass and still demand respect, people.
Now that I've lost most of you, onto the creamy caramel filling. Mmmm.
Some things I look for when I peruse threads...
- Anything Fallout related or post-apocalyptic (literally always)
- Skyrim related or mix of fantasy/medieval
- Survival/end of days-type
- Zombies
- Dark plots
- Modern
I mentioned Fallout and Skyrim but that does not mean I will role play as specific characters, but I may consider if you ask.
Plots are things I like to discuss with my partner before beginning. I don't have any specific ideas floating around in my head right now, but if you do, you can bet your ass I want to know about them.
