Opposites Attract (me and Dark Shane)

Gemini or Gem for short was alone as she usually was, it didn’t matter to her though. She and her brother were both twins though nobody could tell. They were polar opposites Gem was more into the darker sides of things she usually wore dark baggy clothing, or leather and corsets. Such as today her hair, which was black with streaks of red, green, blue, and purple running through it, was up in multiple braids and held back with a dark burgundy bandanna. She was dressed in a burgundy corset blouse with see through sleeves, and a pair of black pants covered in chains and rips. Things usually didn’t vary all that much with her in fact most of her outfits were either uber dark colors or just straight black. Her personality showed in her art too always-cruel scenes with someone dying or being chained down in dungeons.

Today she was sitting on a bench by the parking lot waiting for her brother to get finished talking with his friends. She didn’t have a car of her own yet since their parents couldn’t afford one, so she caught rides from her brother. It wasn’t all bad they didn’t get along too well but when they were both getting along it could actually be fun. Gem would never admit but she did love her brother they were just too different. “I’m gonna be out here forever” She sighed putting in her ipod headphones. She cranked up the music full blast and people could hear the song Freak On a Leash blasting out.

 

[Dark Shane]

Shane was talking to his friends as usual despite the fact that his twin sister was waiting for him he kept her waiting just that bit longer knowing she wanted to go home, but he was not looking foward to it seeing as they argued 90% of the time the other 10% they were either sleeping or trying to get something they both desired from their mother and father.


Shane looked pretty much the opposite of his sibling she liked dark things and he was always smartly dressed, wearing a light blue pair of denim jeans and a white shirt he looked pretty much like he was ready for a date except he was not he always dressed like this he belived the best way to make friends was not to be well like his sister.


"Gem, are you awake Gem?." He asked her having made plans with his friends for the weekend.

She popped one headphone out and looked at him with a deep sigh. "Yeah...took you long enough" She said and stood up "God you're always so slow". She looked around and passed her hand over her hair before looking around. "Let's get home" She said "I've got some important things to do". She figured he had made some plans which meant she got the house to herself while her parents were out.
