Some plot/ideas:
1: MC is a painter needing inspiration...and a place to stay. He gets kicked out of his apartment by his roommate do to his 'art crap' being spread everywhere. So he put's an add in the newspaper and hopes someone will answer him soon because he has only two weeks to get out.
YC answers the add for whatever reason(needs the extra money, needs a roommate/housemate, just feels sorry for MC...whatever). Then he comes to relies there is more to this(MC) young man than he thought and the relationship can develop from there....
2: Set in a western setting in the early years of electricity...
MC is a rancher/hunter who helps out the folks around the town when he's not on patrol. YC is the son of the newest member of the ranching community and is more of the city type. YC's father hires MC to do work on his new ranch and teach him how to live in the country. YC get's sucked into the 'lessons' and thing go from there....
3. MC is a photographer that also likes to ice-skate on his free time. (this can go one of two ways...) 1-YC hires MC as a photographer for some event like a wedding or even on a curse or travel vacation to take pictures for YC's(family) for the photo albums...or 2- YC is a dancer/skater that needs help because your female partner just quit and there is a competition soon and you need a partner and come into the rink to see MC goofing off and having fun (but doing all the moves of a pro) and gets the idea to ask MC for help...
