Axio never really understood what the frozen one-fifty down below had to do with anything, but it didn't make it any easier for him to be convinced that going down there and killing all the frozen that were too different was a good idea. Didn't the initial colonists have something in mind when they froze these people? Axio didn't know. He wasn't there. Then again, neither was his father...
The lean, fit young man, who had recently reached the age of two two's, smushed back some of his soft, poofy brown hair to wipe off sweat on his brow. A flashlight in hand, somehow steady despite his state of panic and anxiety, revealed a cryo chamber with a different individual. Green eyes. Red hair. Freckles. That's what it said on the convenient monitor thing right next to it. He pulled out the knife at his side, still just as calm on the surface....
Was he really going to do this? After all this time of acting rebellious against Eldest? Well, this was the compromise for not killing all of the frozen... Still didn't sit in his gut right.
The Elder lifted his finger off the hilt of the short blade, solidly poking the big red button on the cryo chamber's apparatus. He knew enough about these machines to know that would unthaw her, but that was pretty much the extent of his aforementioned knowledge.
