Jennifer watched the sun go down outside of her window making sure the light didn't hit her, she let out a sigh of relief, "finally it is close to night time, I long to be outside again, instead of being trapped in here..." she muttered to herself, she missed the days when she was humna, which most vampires fond odd, most loved being like this, she did not she thought it was a curse, as the sun sank down she opened it and let the cool night breeze hit her face wih a smile her fangs briefly showing.

Krad inhaled the cold night air deeply, standing high above the streets below, the cars and lights flashing off the tall buildings. He looked down the street, watching the sun set, a great shadow cast over him by the building looming over the top of this one. He could smell the scents of all the humans below, longing to feed on them.

Jennifer walked down the fire escape outside her window, she didn't get a jacket, she didn't need one, she never felt the cold anymore, which actually made her sad, she missed the crisp autumn air. She missed feeling the wind chilling her skin, they were little things to be sure, but she missed them all the same, she walked the street getting many looks from men and women alike, she was used to that, she was extremely beautiful her flowing red hair, pale skin and red lips were alluring she could have been a model.

He watched and waited, untill the sun finnaly set. The streetlights below flicked on, filling the lower half of the city with light, light that he could tolerate. He moved like a shadow, decending down the side of the building. There was hardly anymore than a blur as he swept up from his dive and darted between the people walking in the street. A few looked around but he was already gone.

He turned into an alleyway and sunk into the dark shadows. He panted, smelling deeply all the people walking past. Happy couples, buisness men, messengers... but right now they were nothing more than food to him.

Jennifer sniffed the air smiling faintly at the smell of the season, but then she smelled something she recongized and she frowned it was the smell of coldness and death a smell so faint humans wouldn't be able to catch it, "another vampire in the city? I thought I was the only one...." she thought to herself and then started to follow the scent intrigued by it. She wanted to know if he was friend or foe.

He shifted through the shadows of the alley, crossing several blocks before stepping out onto the sidewalk. He looked around for a prime target, but couldn't pick out a scent he liked, they were all delicious.

Jennifer climbed up and watched the male vampire down below her and smiled a bit, she hopped down behind him and quickly stood up, "Looking for blood I presume?" she asked him casuallly, a faint smirk on her face the wind whipping her red hair in her face a bit. She kept her guard up though, in case he tried to attack her she didn't want to be defenseless around him, like her he possessed unbelievable strentgh and speed.

He inhaled deeply as she landed behind him. His lip curled in a sneer as he glanced over his shoulder at her. "Hunt somewhere else girl." He said, then turned his attention back to the people. "This is my turf." He said before darting accross the street, appearing on the other side pulling a young woman into the opposite alleyway. There wasn't enough time for her to make a sound as he bit into her neck, drawing her blood out of her veins.

Jennifer rolled her eyes, as she watched him bite his poor victim "this is his turf? Since what century?" she muttered to herself as she started walking around, she didn't bite everybody she first laid eyes on, it wasn't that she was picky but she can withhold that hunger for quite sometime sometimes for months, today she was just out for a stroll, she was curious as to who that vampire was, "he is not a face I recongize of the vampires I met..." she muttered, strolling around into the park.

He fed off the girl for several minuets. He looked up, blood dripping from his mouth. He leapt up onto the wall of the alley and scaled the building, following the scent of the vampire he'd just met.

Jennifer sat down on a park bench with a sigh she sniffed the air and smelled him coming closer, "wonder why he is coming here...." she mused to herself and looked up at the night sky marvelling at the stars, no matter how old she got the stars always amazed her.

He slid onto the bench next to her, not making a noise. "I haven't seen you around here before." he said, glanceing around. There wasn't anyone in the park at this hour.

Jennifer glanced at him casually, "that is surprising. I usually am here, maybe you just haven't looked hard enough." she replied to him before glancing at the stars.

"Ooh, quite a response." He said raising his eyebrows. "Do you always treat people like this?" He asked, getting comfortable on the bench.

Jennifer just smirked at him, "To complete strangers whom I don't know if they are a friend or foe, yes I do so quite often." she replied to him brushing some hair away from her face and leaned back on the bench to get a better view of the stars, "...shame that in the city most of the stars are covered up by pollution and don't seem to shine as bright as they should." she told him with a tinge of sadness in her voice, and for one of her kind that was odd.

"As long as you arn't a foe, neither am I." he said. He looked up too. "I know... humans are all fools. They're so easy to hunt." He licked his lips, still tasting his last feeding.

Jennifer smiled, "I tend to hunt as little as possible actually, i feed only when need to, not on any urges... I find humans interesting... the next generation so different than the last." she told him.

"They're pretty weak." He said looking at her. "And you're just like me, you're saying you don't have the urge to feed?"

Jennifer smiled "Yes they are weaker than us, but remember strength is not everything, these humans have found weaknesses in us and have killed many of our kind. As to the urge to feed, yes I get that yet I do not always act on them, I only feed when needed." she replied to him calmly.

"You mean you don't enjoy the luscious taste of blood?" He said, licking his lips. "You can smell it on me can't you?" He whipsered leaning a bit closer to her.

Jennifer smiled, "To be honest I sometimes can't stand the taste. The blood now is tainted it seems." She replied stretching her arms a bit. "It is to salty or taste likes the drugs." she replied with a sigh, "not like it used to be...." she replied.

"Its just the Americans." He said after a moment. "In London they still taste the same." He licked his fangs longingly.

Jennifer sighed, "ah yes London, how I long to go back there... One thing I miss is tea, good british tea not the garbage they have here." she muttered.

Jennifer sighed, "Because this is my home now, I can't go back to London without him knowing that I have arrived there again, damn annoyance." she told him like it was obvious.
