The bright sun filled the baby blue skies with light, casting down on the town of Magnolia. The streets were crowded with people going about their daily business, their laughter and talking filling the ears of many. Among the crowd was a girl from out of town, adventuring out and wanting to visit the home to where her favorite guild, Fairy Tail, was located at.
Lucy Heartfilia was her name, daughter to Layla and Jude Heartfilia. Growing up in one of the wealthiest families in the country, Lucy was different and felt that she didn't need the fancies in life to live a good and happy one. After her mothers death, Lucy felt saddened, and wanting to keep her mother's memory she began to learn Celestial Magic; summoning spirits from the celestial world with the keys she wielded and the contracts she established with each. Unfortunately, her father had an ugly obsession with his power and money, he had neglected his only child. Searching for the love she never got from him, she took matters into her own hands and decided it would be best to leave the Heartfilia mansion for good. This was one of the reason's why she travels to Magnolia. To get away.
Her keys dangled on a key chain that was attached to her belt loop, and a whip wrapped around tightly on the other side of her loop. Her back carried a book bag, containing clothes and the little money that she had to help her with her travels. Despite not knowing where she was, she was having a blast.
With eyes filled with awe, they scanned around the lovely and beautiful town. Everything was perfect and more than what she could ever ask for. Now that she was free to do what she wanted, maybe she could get into the Guild? She was ready to put her magic to the test, and it would be nice to make a few extra bucks tacking on guests and missions. Pacing the cement sidewalk, her stomach growled, telling Lucy that it was time to rest and grab a bite to eat. Indeed, she has been traveling on an empty stomach, but the excitement was getting to her, wanting to continue her stroll.
Taking another step, her stomach protested, growling loudly in refusal. "Alright!" She snarled, her face frowning as she will have to postpone her adventure to satisfy her hungry stomach. Luckily, a restaurant was right beside her, and the food didn't smell half bad either. Smiling to herself she then walked into the diner, having a seat and browsing through the menu, her legs crossed and her smile never ceasing away.
"After you eat you can go back on your adventure!" Excitedly she told herself, her stomach fluttering with butterflies.
