"In other news, Aoika is experiencing the fourth woman, Mia Wells, missing in the south district..." Sabine turned off the television and rolled her eyes. Recently women have been disappearing with no trace and with little to go on, all investigations have gone dry. There was nothing connecting to these women except that the disappearances would have at a week or so intervals. The missing women have caused the region to have women and children on curfews. Men are on watch and the number of police on the streets have doubled. "I've always enjoyed my late night strolls and I'm not going to let some mad men scare me" She scoffed grabbing her light beige coat from the rack and closing her door behind her.
The moon was full and the winds danced lightly. The sound of leaves rustling in the branch were soothing. The dimmed street lamps cast minimal shadow. It's no wonder why this new threat was having fun here. Sabine quietly walked by officers. Being a ballerina the light steps and flexibility to swiftly move with the poorly lighted environment helped her cascade through the streets.
Sabine reached her destination. The park. Half the size Madison Square Garden in New York and with more lakes, this park was known for it's colorful blooming flowers in autumn. Her dark auburn hair flowed behind her moving like a cape behind her. Since she was wearing her flats, walking at a regular pace did not give her a problem or risk of noise. Sabine leaned on a rail facing toward one of the parks lake. She exhaled calmly watching her breath dissipate into the air. The temperature was dropping fast. Last she checked, it was 62 degrees. It felt like the temperature hit 40.
