How to put a video in my signature?

Since I'm finally allowed to add my signature, I decided that I wanted to put a video in it. I clicked on the little TV to add the video I want and I put the URL, but when I clicked 'preview signature', it wasn't coming up as the video, just the URL.

Help me please? :-/

I'm not sure if the signatures are capable of handling videos. Posts are. But I don't think signatures can...and, quite honest, it would make sense to me that they can't. Or that it would be disabled. Imagine if EVERYONE had videos in their signatures! Pages would take forever and a day to load up.
