Alphis watched the battle from high on his tamed drake. The creature brought fear with it making all but the stoutest hearted quail in fear at it mere presence. Staring down he laughed as his troops easily breached the walls of the city. The walls had kept out some of the greatest armies the world had ever known but with the aid of his black magic his men easily overwhelmed them. The moved quickly taking defenders down quickly, flowing over the city like a black cloud. Soon the only thing that held them back was the keep itself. Made with magic from times long forgotten even his magic empowered soldiers could not breach it. the magic had to be over overpowered by him directly, and he knew just the place.

After all he had played in this keep as a child he knew everything about it as well as where the two girls that he was after would be. With a simple thought he guided the beast up toward the platform at the top of the keep used by the kings and queens of Thrisis for generations as a place to lead any siege from. It was protected by the most powerful magic shield ever made and was said to be able to withstand anything. He would see about that, pulling his mask down he came level with the platform looking for the two queens he had come for, his sisters.

Syeira had opened her doors for her little sister, knowing that they would be eventually facing the same enemy. She had her army and scouts, as did her sister. The various messengers and scouts had returned to them saying that it was the intention of their enemy to come up against both of them. Sure, once their father died, he had split the kingdom between the two of them, and their armies had respected the girls enough to listen to them and obey and follow their lead.

They had an older brother, though "had" was certainly a key word. He had been five years older than Syeira, and when she and her sister were still really young, he disappeared. After more than a year of hearing a single word about him, they had come to believe that he had died, and no one had told them any different. Why were these thoughts going through her head? Here they were, facing a rider with a vicious, hideous drake, and all she could think about was the happy boy that she had idolized growing up.

The older queen had her long blonde hair braided back away from her face, and the fair skin of her face was starting to show signs of fatigue, especially around her aqua eyes. She was exhausted, and with battle looming on her doorstep for days, she hadn't slept a whole lot. Her hands came up to rub her eyes and focus on the masked man before them, knowing they were safe on the platform for the time being. But anyone who could tame such a beastly drake had to have some powerful magic, and she felt a little iffy standing there in front of him.

Pixie didn't even realize a war had broken out until the news had come from other villages that some guy with a black drake had come around and had been crashing them down. After she heard the news from the other villages she had had enough and wasn't going to stand up to this guy. Her and her sister had always been strong when coming together to defeat and enemy but this time she had a gut feeling it wasn't going to work out that way. Pixie being only sixteen wasn't as well taught about being a queen or even owning a kingdom and she had to look up to her older sister. Growling lowly as she heard the gates be broken down she glared as she ran through the halls wondering where the hell her sister was. She would most likely be on the platform but by the looks of it that platform wouldn't be the safest place not anymore. Running as fast as she could she turned around the corner and started back towards her sisters headquarters. One she was there she burst the door open and she saw the guy and her sister facing each other. Trying to think quickly she glared at the guy then used some of her light magic to slam the doors shut.

Running over to her sister she whimpered and pulled her back from the door "You are to tired to stand up to him...We are at least safe for a little bit longer..please take that time to rest cause if he does defeat us we don't know what he will do". She whimpered and took her over to the bed and sat her down and then handed her a glass of tea she had made with herbs "Please Syeria please for your own sake at least get some rest until we are defeated...I know my magic may not be that strong but at least I can hold him off until you get enough rest..just drink that it will help you go to sleep". She whimpered not liking how her sister looked and she knew if the guy defeated them that if he did anything she would most likely pass out before the guy even touched her. Her sisters power was stronger then hers much stronger but when Pixie put her mind to it she could and would beat anyone or hold them off until she couldn't any longer. Even if it meant her defeat and her sister was worth that much "Please take a rest sister..we have kingdoms to protect and you can't fight when your like this..". Pixie would normally be the sub type but she wasn't wanting to get defeated no in such little time so she was going to put on a strong and tough look to let anyone who came through the castle know she meant business.​

Alphis smirked down at his eldest sister, he knew her so well always the one to stand up for Pixie the youngest. It only made sense that she now stood in defiance of him. he laughed a deep menacing laugh as he saw Pixie come running up and pull her sister back into the room just inside the platform. He could sense why she had done that but little did she know that neither of them were able to stand against him in sheer power. He directed his drake back down leaving the shield untouched, for now.

Syeira hated to be pulled away from any impending battle, and she normally would pull away and go after her opponent on her own. She could not do that to her little sister, though. To be honest, Pixie was the only person that she could not stay angry at for very long. She took a deep breath and accepted the tea as she was led to the room. She took one sip of the tea and started to relax a little. "What am I going to do with you, little sister? You're too good to me, and I haven't been taking care of you as well as I should have." The older girl sighed and set the tea aside before she touched her finger tips to her forehead. She used what little strength she had to send out a slight feeler spell, just to see if he was still there. Sure enough, just as she had suspected, the masked man had gone, and the castle was left alone...for the time being. Syeira smiled wryly and shook her head before downing the hot liquid. It really didn't take long before she felt the effects of it and closed her eyes, falling asleep rather quickly for the first time in ages.
