Please go away.
The battle at Argus had ended in retreat. Lilith spent the entire ride home fuming. Lilith's irises had faded from black to blue over the course of the journey. They remained distant and empty. She stared off, ignoring her allies. This whole ordeal had been an absolute failure. It was almost certain that they had been lured into a trap. The initial plan was an absolute failure. They had set out with a slew of human thugs and their core, more capable, team. They were returning now with just the strongest members. Covered in blood and still craving destruction, she let out a heavy sigh. She glanced over her shoulder at their green-haired ringleader. There had been a comment about burning excess energy. Knowing him, the two had different ideas as to that would entail.
The ride home was short and most of her irritated grumbling was drowned out by Cerberus. Whatever conversation was happening, she didn't bother acknowledging. When they landed, she hopped off the bike and took off. Being covered in blood was one thing; being covered in dry blood was another. The once sticky substance was now peeling and flaking off her skin.
She almost made it through the front door. Almost. A pair of hands locked onto her waist. With a gasp, she whirled her head around. Head cocked and eyes glinting, Ash stood behind her. He snaked his arms around her and pulled her back against him. Either he forgot his strength, or he was trying to fuck with her. The sudden movement and impact caused her to let out a soft grunt. If he said anything then, it fell on deaf ears. There was only one thing on her mind at the moment. "Shower," she said, her voice deep and heavy. He leaned in close enough for her to feel his breath on her face. There was no ignoring the next part. "I have a shower. What a coincidence."
She closed her eyes and sighed. Not only was he faster than her, he was also much stronger. Even if she had the urge to struggle, it wouldn't do much. She turned her head and locked eyes with him. There was a comeback on the tip of her tongue, but her mouth refused to spit it out. They were so close. She had never allowed someone as close to her as the Czarian managed to get. In the past, humans who grabbed her waist were subjected to her death touch. With him, she didn't bother. Though she would probably never say it, Lilith considered Ash as much a God as she was a Goddess.
After a moment of staring, she managed to speak. "You're insufferable," the words lacked the intended edge and venom. She turned away from him, no longer capable of maintaining the gaze. Her body was on fire. He was only making it worse. When she turned away, he let out a heavy sigh. Regardless of intention, the warm rush of air caused her to let out a few shaky breaths. She closed her eyes and leaned back against him. For a moment she forgot about the world around her. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she was enjoying being pressed against him.
A moment later, she was being pushed away. Her response was instant frustration. With a frustrated grunt, she opened her eyes. They had moved. Before her was the promised shower. Considering what she knew about Ash, she was surprised at how well maintained the bathroom was. Oh, right.
She emerged from the shower feeling refreshed but still craving a release. She grabbed a towel and dried off. Redressing wasn't an option. Between her antics inside Argus and the beating outside, her clothing had been destroyed. Aside from the stains, her top had a massive hole from Orion's gunshot. The pants were torn in several places from the redhaired brat, quite literally, breaking her on the ground. Lilith balled the mess of ruined fabric up and tossed it into a nearby waste bin. For a moment, she considered leaving it in the bathroom and wandering out naked.
Being nude in front of people had never phased her. Well, not until Ash, anyway. There was a definite hunger in his eyes when she wasn't fully covered. Though the look was by no means exclusive for her, it still made her feel strange. Their serpentine appearance didn't help the feeling. She did not doubt that he would be in the attached room, waiting. Knowing it gave her a feeling she couldn't quite place. The hunger was still there, but it was different. Everything was tingling. The cause was either adrenaline or the Czarian's antics earlier; maybe both. Honestly, she didn't know.
Lilith emerged from the bathroom wearing the towel. Despite how nice the bathroom was, the towel was surprisingly small. One hand held the top in place. No matter what she did, the bottom revealed thigh with every step. It seemed modesty was not an option. Her eyes scanned the strange room. During her redecorating spree, she had avoided bedrooms. Meddling with the personal space of others was an invitation for them to meddle with yours. What caught her eye was the half naked Ash. There was no denying that he was gorgeous. Every inch of him was sculpted perfection. She clenched the towel, suddenly self-conscious. Despite that, her grip loosened almost instantly. There were appearances to keep up. In all of her years she had never felt shame in her body. Despite her nerves, she maintained lax posture.
Her eyes wandered up and down him before meeting his. "I've seen a naked man before, you know. For a very long time the humans refused to wear clothing at all." She closed the bathroom door and ventured deeper into the bedroom. "You could use a few more pillows." , she cooed. The longer she looked at him, the more the madness in her grew. There was something about him. Perhaps it was the twisted smirk that seemed to live on his lips or the madness and hunger that hid in his eyes. For a very brief moment, she let her eyes wander up and down him again. Though she didn't realize it, her gaze was just as hungry as his.
In the blink of an eye, she was beside him. "You'll have to forgive me, but I'm not ready for bed yet. I need more." It would be a poor decision to wander the streets now; part of her brain knew that. They wanted internationally for breaking all kinds of laws and codes. Lilith, however, was past caring. "It's odd. I'm..." she paused, searching for the right word. "Insatiable." The word was odd and it felt unnatural on her tongue. English was such an ugly language.
