There was a great shuffling of papers as two men sat behind a rather large desk, the first wore long red robes and the second what looked like leather armor with an apron thrown over top. The robed man looked in his early forties, with a beard circling his mouth and flowing down his chin to hang off in a goatee, though his head was bald his beard was dark black with a few streaks of early grey. He was Bob, or at least that's what he claimed, the robed man never gave a last name and he was very careful to make sure most folk didn't see his face, this however was a special occasion. Bob was a powerful magic, though not as destructive as some of his brothers and sisters, Bobs magic specialized in changing or warping one creature into something else, creating a host of different affects as subtle as gaining muscle mass to changing someone's species completely. Next to him was a young man, decked out in the slightly burnt leather clothing and an apron covered in discolorations and more bun marks, this man looked closer to twenty-five, still quite young but showing many traits of older men. He had wild bold hair that stuck up at odd angles, it looked like he never saw a comb in his entire life, wearing a pair of thick glasses his face was rounded and rather handsome. This man was Joe, the head alchemist of this little program, known for his radical ideas and blatant disregard for the safety of others.
With another shuffling of papers Bob cleared his throat before shooting a critical eye at the woman sitting in the chair opposite of him and Joe. "Miss...Quinn? Can you read and write?" In these times not all those living in any kingdom could bother themselves with higher learning, but there were always a few surprises lurking around. "Does that really matter?" Joe asked the mage with a raised eyebrow "More importantly, are you healthy? We know you have gone through some rather harsh times. We need a healthy woman. Any history of internal pain or bleeding?" at that Bob glared at the young man before sighing. "Joe, we must cover the basis before preying into this poor woman's medical history!" So the war of practicality verses order continued until the two men realized that Quinn was still sitting across from them. Coughing into his hand Bob continued "Well, we do have many questions for you, most medical issues can be cured with the right healer but first we must know a bit about your history and that of your body. The more information we have the better we can work and the less chance of something unforeseen happening." with that ominous tone the man leaned back i his rather comfortable looking hair an decided to give the woman a chance since he and Joe sort of dominated the conversation.
