The rp I have in mind is a police procedural, centered around solving a crime. I am looking to play alongside a female partner, and romance is possible, but not central to the plot. Needless to say, if there is romance it will be of the fade-to-black variety when it comes to love scenes. I am more concerned with the plot and the non-sexual relationships developing from that plot.
I want to play a hard-bitten and cynical veteran detective. He's only somewhat corrupt, although he does follow a moral compass and draws the line at how far he will be bend and break the law. If you've ever seen Gotham on television, think a different version of Harvey Bullock.
My female writing partner could be any one of the following:
-- His new, and likely very reluctant, partner
-- His new, and likely very hard-pressed, boss. She's likely been sent in to clean up the department.
--- Someone tied to the case in another way. A medical examiner, a health care worker, a social worker, etc, etc.
I am open to variations on what I just listed above. Hope to hear from you!
