Hello everyone,

I just got my hands on the 5e books and was wondering if anyone was looking for a player? I'm very flexible with all the details, so please feel free to contact me here or there if you have ideas.

I've got the PHB as well, though I do not yet have a character concept in mind. I am all for the male adventurers members taking advantage of the female adventurers, though ;)

Hmm, I haven't actually tried D&D 5th yet. Is it very complicated, or different from 3.5/Pathfinder? If I played, I'd definitely be up for being placed in "fun, sexually vulnerable positions" :p

So is anyone open to running the game? Cause it looks like we have a good number of people wanting to play. I'm also fine with the 'fun, sexually vulnerable positions' aspect.

I notice the basic rules are available for free as a PDF. Would that be enough to play with?

Should be. On a side note, I would offer, but I'm already running several games on a different site. Most of them are solo games thank god, but there is a pair of group games.

D&D 5e is a much simpler game than previous iterations, but I think that the simplicity works in its favor. I'd be able to think up and create a character within maybe half an hour, provided I had details about the setting. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a GM, so I'm probably not a good choice to run the game.

As for making the female characters vulnerable, I've always wanted to play an adventuress/slave who is owned by a male adventurer :)

I'm either going to be a Hill Dwarf Druid with a more spellcasting bent, or a Mountain Dwarf Barbarian. Both appeal to me for simple reasons. That, and really, both race/class combos work rather effectively together... though I will admit my first choice will be the druid.

On a side note, if we don't have a healer, I'm going to go druid, but if someone else wants to, I'm going barbarian. Either one works for me, but just putting it out there.

I'll have to double-check if Bards still have healing magic. I might go the Bard route if that's the case, though my preference would still be to play a wizard

Hmm... could be interesting playing a Bard slave: she could do a sultry little dance to inspire her comrades. Still, I like the more direct involvement that Wizards have when it comes to their presence in the party. Decisions, decisions...

Eh, go for what you want to go with, both are awesome, though have to admit, elf wizardess is a classic, and a babe.


That said, was looking for pictures of dwarf barbarians, and does this work?

So, I've settled on running a Tiefling Wizard. I'm trying to figure out if I should use the point-buy provided to us or if we should be rolling for our stats? I suppose it'll all depend on whoever winds up GMing this thing

And settled on a Mountain dwarf Barbarian here. Hoping to get 18 in Str and Con, start with a mighty 20 in each :) Of course, have to make sure my other stats are good, so better to roll if it works.

That said, honor system or off site?

Well, I'd say that'd probably be in the GM's hands (once we get one). The game seems to be balanced for players to start out with a character's highest stat being 17 at most (point-buy seems to favor stat bonuses of around +1 to +2), since the highest you can go with the point buy is 15 before racial bonuses. Again, this could change depending on who's running it, but I'm going to hold out on rolling until we hear back on what our stats should look like.

lilwhiterabbit: If you're still interested in this game, I might suggest editing the title to include a "Looking for DM" tag

Well I've been DMing for quite a long time, so I'm eager to be a player now, that's why I suggested openDM on the other thread, maybe you could dare to do the same here
