Daniel Chack grimaced as he looked out the window of his apartment, seeing the torrent of rain. "So much for hanging out with my friends," he said, sighing. He lounged around his house for a while after that, bored out of his mind. Tall, with short scraggly brown hair and green eyes, Daniel guessed that he could be considered 'handsome'. Though it didn't seem to help him when it came to his love life, something which his friends would mercilessly mock him about.
"Ah fuck them, they're a bunch of pricks anyway," he muttered, as he booted up his old Wii, deciding to play some Smash Bros. to pass the time. Gamecube controller in hand (he despised playing it with the Wiimote and nunchuck), he started Brawl up. Grimacing again when he remembered that they shut down the online servers, he sighed and resigned himself to a CPU match on Final Destination. His opponents were Peach and Zelda, while he played Zero Suit Samus.
The stage loaded up, and he began, KOing Peach and Zelda a few times chuckling to himself. He saw the Smash Ball enter the fray, and he grinned. Just as he had Samus about to break the Smash Ball, the power flickered before going out. "Ah, dammit," he grumbled. He got up to check the fuse box, to see if fiddling with it would restore power. He didn't notice, however, that his Wii began to glow a green light...
