Jiâ??une sighed to herself as she relaxed against her giant snow tiger taking a large bite from a green apple. Suddenly an unannounced visitor poofed before her handing her a white envelope. She took the envelope from her cloaked visitor and ripped open the envelope. â??Hmmmâ?¦â? a wide grin curved her lips as she read the letter. â??Oh how wonderfulâ?¦ A game of Demon Chase how grandâ?¦â? standing up from her tiger she tossed the apple into the grass. â??Looks like Iâ??m off on another job.â? Jiâ??une scratched her head softly as she looked toward the sky, the moon full, shining ever so brilliantly. â??Too bad I wonâ??t be able to tell my sonâ?¦ I wonder where he is anyway..â? she thought with a pout as the tiger rose to its full height. It was huge the size of black stallion. The dark covered half her face with a ninja like mask, that swirled around her neck like a scarf, a rather cute accessory to her battle armor. â??Come on Snow Iâ??ve gotta notherâ?? missionâ?¦â? she said to the white tiger as she grabbed her boomerang like weapon out of the grass as she hopped upon the tigerâ??s back. â??YAAH!â? Snow let out a fierce battle cry, scaring the little faeries from the tree as the elf rode of into the night.

As he tiger ran she directed him through the forest and into Metropolis right outside of the forest. It was a large city, bustling with all types of common folk. She rode in on her tiger riding to what looked to be an abandoned warehouse. She sensed no other presence as she pulled her tiger to a stop and hopped off its back. â??Go homeâ?¦â? she told the beast as she stepped into the dark building. Why would her mark be hiding in such a place? Holding her weapon close she wandered through the abandoned building looking upward her eyes analyzing the many levels above her. â??Hmmmâ?¦this will make the battle so much more interesting.â? she thought.

Jiu'ne was getting bored and tired of waiting. "Perhaps snow hasn't gotten to far..." she thought as she placed two fingers in her mouth preparing to whistle. Hoever, as she did so the wind picked up, an eerie feeling carried upon the wind sending shivers up her spine. As soon as her mark arrived she sensed his dark presence. Such a dark aura... The elf thought. The sound of his feet hitting the ground alerted the elven woman. "So you've finally arrived..." she said loud enough for him to hear her. From what she heard she held her weapon back and flung it where she thought he was. "Perhaps I can draw him out of the shadows with that..." she thought as the bladed weapon swooshed through the air.

Her attack wasn't accurate by any means, but it did come close to him, just not enough to cause any damage. The triangular boomerang came swirling back to her, she caught it by its handle by spinning on her left foot timing the grab just right. One slip up and the elf could cut her arm off by mistake. "Come out, come out wherever you are... Let's get this over with so I can return home." she called to him in a taunting tone, basically claiming she had won the battle and would be the one leaving alive.

She yawned into her hand in a bored kind of way to taunt her enemy even further but never let her guard down for a second. Her strongest weapon against her foes was the element of surprise and distraction. So much exposed skin was the distraction, the surprise was how skilled she was when she had drawn her enemies in with her alluring body and persona. Tonight however, she was ready for a real battle. Her foe deserved nothing less from her... Tricks would be and insult to the other's talent. Jiu'ne already figured she had insulted him enough with her taunting ways.

Why wasnâ??t the hell he coming out? She wanted to fight. The sheer anticipation of what he would be like on a real battlefield was driving her crazy. She wondered if she would have to search him out or something. Was this how he toyed with his prey? Perhapsâ?¦if it was she was falling right into his trapâ?¦ Jiuâ??ne would have to do something quickly. â??Likewiseâ?¦â? she called back to him, straining her elven eyes to see where he was. She gripped the handle of her weapon tighter, getting somewhat upset he decided to take refuge in the shadows.

A cold shiver ran up her spine, making what little hairs on her neck stand to attention. â??I can see you are a professional tooâ?¦moving silently through the darkness, undetected like thatâ?¦â? she said when he disappeared. â??No oneâ??s been able to get that close to meâ?¦â? she looked around scanning her surroundings once more trying to pick out where he might be hiding.

â??Thatâ??s all good and well but I didnâ??t come here for a game of cat and mouse, or hide-and-go-seek hon. I came out for an all out duel. I came for an honest fight one to remember.â? She then sighed bending her knees a bit hopping up onto the second level. Her weapon glistened under what little light of the moon that had shined into the building through cracks and holes. She stepped back disappearing completely into the shadows. â??I guess Iâ??ll play your little gameâ?¦â? she said making voice echo throughout the building, in an attempt to confuse the other of her position as she walked in the darkness searching for him.

She made no sound as the vampire swooped down upon her. She was no fool, her guard was up as she was looking for him. She knew the other was more skilled than her, with traveling in the shadows and whatnot considering the fact that just a moment ago he could have seriously injured her. However, when he pushed her down onto the ground she dropped her weapon on the second level cursing herself mentally as they fell to the first floor.

A shock of pain flew through her entire frame when she hit the ground with him on top. â??Give upâ?¦my dear you must have me mistaken for someone elseâ?¦â? she replied snidely. She looked upon his faceâ?¦There was something familiar about him but she couldnâ??t quite put her finger on it. It was a shame that she didnâ??t know her own son when she saw him, but he had changed so much and he was no longer recognizable to her. Jiuâ??ne watched as his expression turned from complete arrogance to rage and hatred within a split second. What had gotten him so pissed? The elf wondered as she watched his emotions consume him completely. She really needed to get from under him before he snapped to his senses. While he was falling into complete rage and hate she elbowed him in the jaw with enough force to daze him even further.

She then quickly followed up with her feet planting right into his stomach pushing him off of her. â??Such a feral and unstable beast. Do you always let your emotions get the best of you?â? she asked as she hopped to her feet. Quickly, the elven woman flipped up onto the second level once more to retrieve her weapon. She slipped into the shadows again watching her opponent on the first floor. What the hell was with the burst of anger? â??If you donâ??t forget that anger and rage you will never beat meâ?¦â? she told the other as she hopped down from her hiding spot taking a deep breath as she shifted into a defensive position.

Why the hell was he so mad all of a sudden? The thought continued replay through her mind over and over and over again. She couldnâ??t understand his sudden rage and to a certain extent it made her a little fearful of him. She gasped when he dashed, seeming to disappear her confused elven eyes shooting around the room for him. Suddenly he was before her, tossing her weapon off to the side.

The cuts on her hands didnâ??t hurt so bad as she released the weapon onto what he was planning to do. Even though it didnâ??t hurt as much, the cuts were severe. However she was completely defenseless to what he had prepared to do next. She felt his elbow crash into her jaw and she grimaced, the strength of his attack temporarily blinding her. She felt her body falling toward him, and the next thing she knew she was coughing up blood as his lightning speed attacks continued to daze her. Pain. It burned through every part of her being her elven eyes shooting open for a moment to see the rage and hatred in his eyes he carried for her. Why? Perhaps he was just that afraid of herâ?¦ Whatever the reason once she had the chance she had to destroy him.

She snapped her wrist out of place letting out an ear piercing scream, the sound waves magnifying as she used her powers. Jiuâ??ne pulled her wrist from him and fell to the ground. The scream would temporarily deafen him, giving her the chance to scramble to her feet. Her wrist was in so much pain but she would worry about such an easily repairable injury later. With all the energy she had left she hopped to her feet, as she did she screamed again this time it just echoed no harm would come to him. The pain was so tense as she snapped her wrist back into place. â??Fuckâ?¦ I didnâ??t think it would have to come to this butâ?¦.â? She flipped back several feet away from him. She held her hands together as she prayed. â??My lords feel my pain and hear my call. Please forgive me for what I am about to doâ?¦â? the wind picked up around Jiuâ??ne as she prayed her eyes glowing within the tornado that formed around her body. A strong dark aura surrounded her body as the blood upon her hands seemed to pour from the cuts swirling up into the tornado of wind. â??To surviveâ?¦Iâ??ll do anything vampire, even if that means forsaking my kind and being banished.â? She laughed softly as a circle formed beneath her feet forming strange symbols with her blood. â??Here I standâ?¦drink my blood and be satiated and in return grant me your power to defeat this fiend, great demon of the abyss.â? There was a demonic air about the elf now as the wind began to settle around her. The elfâ??s eyes were red now, as she stood glaring at the other. There was a boost of power and magic flowing through her veins that matched his. â??Your wish is grantedâ?¦â? dark and sinister was the eerie voice that answered her prayer.

â??We are evenly matched. However I get stronger as each second passesâ?¦Can you defeat knowing that?â? she taunted as she reached her hand forward her weapon returning to her possession. Deep down she knew her boost of power was temporarily and the stronger she got she would get weaker. However, if she could defeat him before her body could no longer handle the dark magic swelling up inside of herâ?¦she could return home. â??Now die you fucking beastâ?¦â? she nearly growled out as she dashes forward. She moved so fast she faded in and out of view as she ran circles around him before coming up behind him sliding one of the blades up the middle of his back shredding his clothes. She breathed heavily as using so much of the demon's power had begun to take it's toll on her. "I've got to beat him now..." she thought, flipping back and slinging her bladed boomerang at him in an attempt to slice him into two.

â??You fucking feeble minded little bratâ?¦â? she scream at him before could wrap his hands around her neck. There was nothing she wouldnâ??t do to win. She wasnâ??t done yetâ?¦ That dark power was still flowing strong through her veins and she had yet to begin. However she was losing sight of her target, he vision blurring as the air escaped her. In order to stay conscious she rose her hand up to her waist and dug her nails into her side. A new pain had taken place, the numbing pain of blood dripping from the wound taking over. â??There isnâ??t anything I wonâ??t do vampireâ?¦â? she tried to say, her voice coming out dry and raspy, but she was sure he could read her delicate lips.

Her body felt hot, boiling even. The dark aura around her increased tenfold and he could actually see it. There was dark electricity that formed around her hands and she gripped his sides. â??Dieâ?¦â? her lips moved but the words refused to come out as she had run out of air, but the dark energy swelling inside of her wanted out and she had just the way to do it. Her grip tightened her nails digging into the sides of his waist and the power from the demon erupted inside of him like a wave of electricity. The power drained from her and into him. However he would gain no strength as she lost hers, he would feel a searing like pain ripping his body to shreds from the inside out, even though it wasnâ??t. However he should feel his energy disperse from him, and should either faint, or be paralyzed until his body decided to regenerate.

The elfâ??s back arched up from the ground as the last bit of the great demonâ??s power drained from her body. Sparks of that dark power erupted from his back and disappeared into the night sky to return to its master. Her body fell back down onto the ground, her red eyes phasing back to gold before they shut. Such power drained her completely and she fell unconscious underneath him. Her body was tattered and completely exhausted she would wake for a while, leaving her completely defenseless if the vampire regenerated faster than her body could. Which he could as she had so little of her own magic flowing through her body to heal too much on her own.

Jiuâ??ne grunted softly, as she twitched. The filthy smell of the cage disturbed her unconscious mind bringing her somewhat back to reality. The woman couldnâ??t move as she attempted to turn her sore body onto its side. The room was dark, no life source present but hers. Where was she? Had she killed the other? How long had she been out? Millions of questions filled the elfâ??s mind at once, causing a violent stir in her mind, her head now pounding with pain.

There was a cool draft in the room she was in making her shiver. Not only that but the floor was cold as wellâ?¦it felt like smooth steel upon her silken skin. â??Wake upâ?¦thereâ??s no time to waste.â? Her conscience screamed at her, as she lay limp in the cage. She jolted up. A wave of pain washing over her frame all at once and she let out a painful cry as it felt all her wounds had opened up again. â??Aaaaaah!â? she inhaled sharply after the scream, the stinking stench from wherever she was filling her lungs causing her to gag right after. â??Ughâ?¦â? she gagged some more, bringing her hands to her mouth as she thought she would puke some up.

Her vision was doubled, and the room dark, except for a small streak of light that reflected off the bars surrounding her. â??Bars?â? she managed to say her breath short and raspy. Impulsively she felt around herself to feel the cold metal bars that encaged her.

Who captured me?! Her voice screamed over and over in her brain alerting her being that she was in some serious shit. She began banging and pulling at the bars inspite of the severe pain surging through her very being. Iâ??ve gotta escapeâ?¦ Jiuâ??ne thought as she continued to bang and pull at the bars. After several moments of failed attempts of escaping, she held her hands out aiming them at the bars directly in front of her. She whispered a few words, mustering up what little elven magic that was flowing through her veins and blaster them with an energy blast. There was a poof of smoke and when it cleared she screamed out in complete frustration, anger, fear, and pain as she collapsed back onto the cageâ??s floor. â??This is hopelessâ?¦â? she said to herself as tears swelled up in her golden eyes. â??I should have been more carefulâ?¦far more alert than I was when fighting that beast. â?? Jiuâ??ne thought.

â??I deserve to be in this mess for toying with himâ?¦â? she thought to herself as she rolled over onto her side, grunting in pain as she laid her eyes to rest waiting for her captor to show itself.

The sudden sounds of his movements made the elf twitch in her spot. She didnâ??t move, she just laid there too exhausted to move now. She spent all her strength on her previous actions and now she was worse off than when she was unconscious. At least then her captor could have done anything and she wouldnâ??t even know. But now, she would be forced to bare his wrath until he decided when he was done toying with her. When her captor spoke her golden eyes grew wide. Soâ?¦she hadnâ??t killed him. That was her last chance at seeing her sonâ?¦ Those bastardsâ?¦they were keeping him locked up. Keeping him on a tight leashâ?¦ Tears began to swell up in the elven womanâ??s eyes as she tried to see through the darkness.

â??Really..oh please fuck my life up even moreâ?¦.â? She begged sarcastically as she stared up at the cage ceiling. â??Pleaseâ?¦.Iâ??m begging for you to make my situation seem worse than what it already isâ?¦â? she teased weakly. He the door to the cage swing open, she flinched a bit. She grunted as he grabbed her hair dragging her out of the cage. The metal of her armored knees scraped against the ground. Her face stung horribly as he slapped her face. The tears continued to stream down her cheeks as she gazed up at her failure. He should have been deadâ?¦. Dead so she could see her sonâ?¦ Why had fate forsaken her so?

Her golden eyes widened, sparkling with tears as his hand wrapped around her throat. When he leaned in close she closed her eyes. The last thing she wanted to see before she died was her sonâ?¦ Not some sadist bastard. â??Snow?â? she said nothing but her lips formed her tigerâ??s name. â??Noâ?¦please donâ??tâ?¦.Iâ??ll do anything for you to release herâ?¦.â? She answered quickly. Snow was the only family she had leftâ?¦ She didnâ??t really know if her son were still alive and if the organization was playing with her head, and she definitely couldnâ??t go back to her elven village after this. â??Tell me what you wantâ?¦..â?

Why did he know so much about her son? Did he perchance know him? Did he know where he was? Was he the one keeping him captive? So many questions flooded her mind about her mysterious captor. Where did he get off thinking she simply left her son to be fed upon? She hadnâ??t forsaken himâ?¦. She tried to go backâ?¦. Tried so desperately to save his lifeâ?¦It wasnâ??t her faultâ?¦.it wasnâ??t her fault.

She could hear his deafening screams in her ears as if she back at that dayâ?¦.struggling against her elven brethrenâ?¦struggling to reach her beloved son. She squirmed when his teeth scraped against her bare stomach, drawing beed of blood, the open wounds stringing just a bit but numbed immediately as other pains were washing over her tattered frame. Jiâ??une watched as he hovered over her, making no attempts to stop him from restraining her wrists. â??My only salvation would to be able to see my sonâ??s face one last time before I am completely consumed by your vengeance and hatred for meâ?¦â? she replied solemnly, the pain in her face never ending as his hits were more powerful now that she was so defenseless.

She squirmed as he lips pressed against her neck, his hip pressing against her. â??Just tell me one thing vampireâ?¦Is my son still alive?â? she questioned softly as she shifted slightly with the male between her legs, her chest heaving slowly. If he wasnâ??t thenâ?¦.giving up would be her option. There would be no point for her existence. However, if he wereâ?¦.she would try her hardest to resist her captors attempts on breaking her until she could see just a picture, or even a vague silhouette to prove all she had done wasnâ??t a total waist of their lives.

Yes the guilt did set in but long agoâ?¦and it has been haunting her ever since. It had been destroying her from the inside out. But not because she purposely left, but because she didnâ??t fight hard enough. â??Tsuâ??Roâ?¦dead?â? she wanted to cry out but couldnâ??t. Her throat had suddenly become dry, all breath escaping her. This could not beâ?¦. They told herâ?¦ They promised he would be alive and well. Were all those marks innocent after all? Was what her brethren said about her right after all? â??You are nothing but a cold blooded demonâ?¦ killing for some lost dreamâ?¦ Your attempts are pointlessâ?¦You will drive yourself into an early graveâ?¦â? the words softly rolled over her tongue. Her eyes were on him, and even though it would seem as if she were looking at him, if he would take a closer look he could see she was lost in her own little world.

â??Bones and dustâ?¦.deadâ?¦.lostâ?¦coldâ?¦forgottenâ?¦yearning for a love only a mother could giveâ?¦â? when his hand tugged at her armor, she responded none. She heard his voice, his words numb to her ears. â??Bones and dustâ?¦deadâ?¦lostâ?¦coldâ?¦forgottenâ?¦yearning for a warmth that can only be given by a motherâ?¦Tsuâ??Roâ?¦â? she began crying again, the full impact of her sonâ??s death weighing upon her already heavy soul. â??Bastardâ?¦.â? She murmured snapping out of her trance. â??You fucking bastards! Why could you let him die a peaceful death?!â? she shouted in emotional pain as she was now gazing up at the vampire. â??I suggest you kill me now beastâ?¦.or I swear once I have the chance you are fucking deadâ?¦.you and you vampire kin. I will slaughter you allâ?¦â?

â??Nnngaaâ?¦â? she grunted loudly as he slammed his head into hers forcing her back onto the cold concrete beneath her. She made not a noise when his hand slammed down upon her tender cheek. She stood with him, barely able to support her own weight as he taunted her. She cried out in pain when struck in her stomach. She went effortlessly onto her knees before the vampire. She was breathing heavily now, clenching her stomach tightly with her slender fingers. â??You fucking dogâ?¦â? she managed to growl out. â??The elves are the highestâ?¦you will neverâ?¦never be anything but mere dogs compared to our powerful raceâ?¦â?

She began to cough, blood surfacing through her throat splattering onto the floor with a soft splat. â??I will never bow down to youâ?¦.and anyone else. I am an elf that is beneath me. I WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR FUCKING KIN!â? she shouted before suddenly coughing up more blood. â??Iâ??ll fucking make you all payâ?¦.kill me nowâ?¦that is the smartest of optionsâ?¦.once I regain my power the existence of your kind will be no moreâ?¦.â? She didnâ??t care how much he beat and abused her. There was no way she would give up her pride now. She should at least survive long enough to avenge her sonâ??s life. Then, and only then will she be able to lie down everything, and roll over and except defeat. Until then, he would have a hell of a hard time breaking her.

Pretty stories~ she repeated in her mind as his hand brushed against her cheek....soft lips caressing her skin. Perhaps they were just stories. Usually she was in complete control of her life...but now as she lay at the vampire's mercy she realized she wasn't anymore. He controlled whether she lived or died.... Jiu'ne let out a soft cry of pain as his teeth sank into her painfully. She quivered beneath him, the weird sensation of her blood being sucked leaving her feeling light headed and extremely tired. She could no longer fight his hold and just lay limp in his tight grip.

She hit the ground with a soft thump....her mind drawing a complete blank at his words... She was unable to process his words her sight fading in and out. She didn't move when he placed her back into the cage.... She felt pathetic... worthless that she had failed so miserably. Tsu'Ro was dead now.... there was nothing for her to live for. She slowly drifted into a deep sleep when the vampire left her be. There was nothing else for her to do. Not only was she too weak to attempt breaking out, she was too confused to. Nothing was making sense in that head of hers...nothing.
