The starship Titan finally settled down on the surface of Planet X98. It had been a stressful day, but one filled with excitement. The stress came from the near flawless landing the ship needed to perform. The space was limited since the starship Titan was indeed a titan. It was meant to serve as a research vessel for unexplored planets. The excitement came when the starship Titan's crew did a survey of the planet and determined that its ecosystem was similar to Earth's. Even more exciting was the life form being detected on the planet. Whether hostile or peaceful would be determined by the first exploration party. The captain herself decided to lead the first expedition.
Her name was Ming Lin, or as the crew knew her, Captain Lin. Despite her hiding her age from the rest of the crew, she had plenty of experience serving on military vessels. Her time spent on said vessels was over, but she continued a career serving as captain-for-hire on private ships. She was approached to serve on the starship Titan and had done so for several years. From her inactive time from the military, Ming's body had taken on a motherly figure with curves settling on her hips and breasts, but she was still fit enough to go along the expedition. With her, Captain Lin would be taking Annabeth Winslow, a scientist with blonde hair, a body younger than her captain, but the intellect of someone who spent years studying and analyzing biological beings foreign to Earth. Ming chose Annabeth, not because they were lovers, but because Annabeth had a knowledge that could be used to better understand he natives of the planet. Along with Annabeth, Ming chose Candace Birch, an engineer who could offer some insight to the technological capabilities of the aliens.
With the team set and each dressed in their spacesuits, which they would need to wear until a better analysis of the atmosphere was performed, the team was ready to move out. A buggy was unloaded from the ship, the captain would be driving it with her crew of two to head to a settlement that was discovered to the East from where the starship Titan settled.
