Akira grinned as he stepped into the cafe, motioning for his three friends to enter behind him and bring their equipment to the back room. He toted a large rectangular bag on his back, carrying an amplifier in one hand and a much smaller synthesizer in the other. He brought it to the back room and set his baggage against the wall. It wasn't easy being the keyboardist in a band, as the equipment was rather heavy. One would think the drummer would have it hardest, but luckily enough for Daisuke, the cafe had a house drum set. This was their first gig outside their high school and he couldn't be happier.
Moniker was the name of North High School's Light Music club, led by keyboardist and vocalist Akira Kusanagi. Aki for short. They had quickly gotten popular among the high schoolers in the area through exposure through the internet. Now they had been invited to play at the Sunflower Cafe with another young band and Akira was going to make certain nothing went wrong.
Akira went back out to the main room of the cafe, taking a seat. They weren't due to play for another hour but he wanted to check out the other band playing. After all, it was good to see the competition.
"After School Tea Time? The hell kind of name is that?" he snickered, leaning back. He didn't think he'd have anything to worry about from a band with such a strange name. Speaking of which, they should be going up to do a set any second now.
(Sorry! That was a pretty bad beginning post. I didn't really know how to start it off. >__>)
