Lillian pulled her black 350 truck into the long line of cars that led up to the school. It was her same routine as always, with a few minor twists. Lillian had gone shopping today, and had something in store for the pupil she babysits every day. After she went to the store, she quickly ran home and placed one of her many newly bought items in the freezer before exiting the house and clambering in the car once more to get the girl from school. Lillian sat in the line, slowly moving forward. She had the radio on 97.1, blasting rock music that caused the bass to thump against her ear drums. "Finally!" She exclaimed, spotting the young girl whom she babysat on almost an every day basis.
The girl practicallyhad to jump into her tall truck. She closed the door with a thud, and buckled up. Little did she know that today would start a new routine. Lillian turned to the girl and asked, "Ready?" as she began maneuvering the truck onto the road. Instead of taking her home, which is where they usually went, she turned the opposite way and headed towards her house. It was about an hour ride from her school, although the girl didn't seem to mind because she was lost in her phone.
As Lillian made her last stop, turning left and pulling onto her long driveway- the girl had finally looked up. "Where are we?" She asked rather timidly. "You'll see." Was the only response that was given. Lillian dug through her white and red starred purse in search of her house keys. What seemed like ages later, she finally pulled them out of her contraption called a purse. She slide the key in the deadbolt and turned it- unlocking the door with a loud click. She motioned for the girl to go ahead, and trailed behind her. Once inside, she turned and relocked the deadbolt, causing the girl to jump. "Make yourself at home," she told the girl
