Trent Powers is your average ordinary student. He has no special traits or qualities that make him stand out or above the rest. His only real talent is in studying and video games. Getting above average grades because of his studying he has been made the target of bullying since he was very little. The young man had turned eighteen and was set to attend a big name school on a grant that he had earned by showing academic prowess. He thought it was his final opportunity to get away from those who tortured him just for the sake of getting easy A's. Little did Trent know that his problem would end up following him regardless of where he went, there were those bullies everywhere.
While on his way home from a part-time job, the sky was in an orange color and then suddenly there was a blast of blue filling the sky as well the sound of a sonic boom. After the flash of blue light, and the loud cracking sound there was a large gust of air that nearly swept Trent off of his feet. Luckily he had new hightop sneakers or he WOULD have fallen due to lack of tread. As the old saying goes, 'curiosity killed the cat', and so Trent walked around the corner of a building towards it's back alley where he saw an old man fighting off what looked like cyborg ninjas. Trent thought that perhaps he'd been staying up too late reading manga and playing video games because the old man performed a move that looked exactly like Goku's Kamehameha from Dragon Ball Z. Which was completely impossible, because that was a fantasy world and not reality. It wasn't until he felt something grab the collar of his shirt from behind that Trent was snapped out of his haze.
Turning his neck and looking behind him, Trent had noticed the very dead looking eyes of one of those robot ninja looking guys. It was from this up close perspective that Trent realized they were no joke, this was no movie or his imagination. What he was seeing was very real. Screaming and running at top speed away from the mechanical creation, Trent found that he was quickly surrounded by them. And right as they were about to pounce down onto him for the kill, that same strange old man landed in front of him from seemingly nowhere and tucked his arms to his torso before screaming out. "GET LOST!" the old man screamed and a blast of blue energy erupted from around him knocking Trent to the ground and sending the others flying. More and more of the robots began to appear, coming down from the rooftops, and in front of Trent's eyes the old man began projecting the energy from the palms of his hands and the energy took the shape of his hands smashing the robots to the walls of the buildings. "Buddhist God Palm Strike...." Trent said under his breath.
While the young man had no skill when it came to practically anything, he had played so many games and watched so many anime shows that seeing this move in action was like second nature to him. He understood it practically entirely, but had no idea that such a thing could even possibly exist. While the old man was busy going about wrecking the robots to pieces, which was actually rather graphic because their bodies still contained flesh, one appeared before Trent and pinned him down by his shoulder. The foul smelling entity hovered it's face over Trent's and the face guard that it had slid open revealing a very disfigured mouth missing most of it's teeth. The mostly robotic creature opened it's mouth and Trent watched as a very wispy essence flowed from his own mouth and eyes into the mouth of the creature. Trent could feel his very energy being drained to the point that he couldn't scream, then there was darkness enveloping his vision. The last thing he saw was a flash of blue evaporating the head of the monster that had him pinned.
The next thing Trent knew was him waking up in a strange room, then his memories came crashing back to him from the event. Shouting and sitting up quickly, Trent planted his palms on the ground firmly between his legs. The impact from his hands caused a pulse of blue energy and the wood floor to buckle underneath his body and launched him across the room. Flying into a wall he smashed into it breaking the wall slightly, then crumpled down to the ground in a upside down heap. His legs came forward and knees hit the ground keeping him propped up, Trent simply stared at his hands awestruck by what just happened. His entire body was permeating with a blue aura, something that he had no idea what it was, or why it was happening. Shock was beginning to set in, and he was starting to enter into the state of having a panic attack. He started hyperventilating and felt like his heart was going to burst. "W-Where am I?!" He shouted out as he righted himself sitting against the wall in confusion.
