The crisp autumn breeze ruffled Catalina's hair as she silently paced about, pale features pursed into a faint frown as she glanced out over the massive yard before her. Light blue eyes slowly trailing down the large cobble pathway, her gaze would focus on the distant gateway. Within what would hopefully be mere minutes, the young woman would be laying eyes upon the newest addition to her household. Proper help was oh so difficult to come upon, especially for a self-admitted perfectionist such as herself. Yet, from what she'd heard of this soon-to-be-maid, she would be quite skilled at her work. Even better, from the little Catalina had seen of her actual appearance the young woman was also quite a feast for the eyes. Such a scandalous thought was unbecoming of a woman such as Catalina, and yet wealthy heiress could hardly deny the fire that had burned the first time she'd seen pictures of the maid. Quite lovely.
Admittedly, the young heiress was hardly hideous herself. Long and silky raven hair tied up into a fancy bun, crimson lips and pale blue eyes. Her finely sewn dress clung to her form in all the right ways, leaving just enough skin exposed to tantalize. She'd gotten her own fair share proposals, and yet the young woman had denied them all. She had no interest in becoming a trophy wife to some no-name fool looking to get their jollies. Long-term commitment wasn't exactly a concept she stood by. Her father had been of a similar, before his own recent passing. Of the countless children the man had, even now Catalina was somewhat surprised that she'd been the one who had inherited his grand fortune. Pleasantly surprised, of course.
Folding her arms beneath her ample chest, a small sigh would escape her lips. "Where are you...?"
