It was a burning hot day and Ashley just had to pick this day to get lost. The twenty-four year old had earlier broken up with her boyfriend of ten years and as a sort of ushering in a new phase in her life, she had decided to go on a bagpacking trip around her neighbouring states. Having lived a pretty sheltered life in North Carolina all her life, most of her friends were shocked by her sudden decision and had attempted to dissuade her from it, but she was determined. The bagpacking trip started off well, with Ashley trekking most of her way around, sometimes even hitchhiking with truckers, but now she found herself getting sick of not having a proper bed to sleep in, not a proper place to stay.

Currently she found herself in Florida, during the hottest summer. It was her last stop before she headed back home, and wanting to save enough money to upgrade her plane ticket to a business class, as a reward to herself for having completed the trip, she decided she was going to foot it all the way to the airport. The route from the motel that she had stayed at to the airport didn't seem all that far away, but apparently she had taken a wrong turning and was now on a some deserted mountain road that didn't seem to have any road signs or anything. Annoyed with herself, she completely gave up on her idea of saving money and decided she was going to go find a payphone and call a taxi. Unfortunately there wasn't even a payphone in sight.

Finally, Ashley saw a house just further down the road. Thanking her lucky stars, she mustered the last spurt of energy and hurried over to the house. Even entering the cool shade of the patio felt like a blessing to her at this point. She was perspiring profusely, and could feel her tank top sticking to her shirt in a disgusting fashion. If the owners of the house turned out to be a nice sort of family, perhaps she might even ask for a bath, but Ashley daren't get her hopes that high. She rapped on the door and waited for some time, hoping really hard that the owner was at home.

Sean lived well off the road, well away from people and certainly any of the problems that they tended to bring with them. The only thing close to him were just a few hiking trails, close enough that every now and then he could see them on the trail and road but nothing else. He was happy away from everyone else, just enjoying his time with nature and the few times he met with someone.

So he happened to see the woman walk up to his house. Her body plastered in sweat and her clothes sticking to her skin. She certainyl was a pretty one, younger, though maybe only a few years younger than Sean himself. It was hard to tell at this distance. He hadn't had a female visitor in years though, and he coudl feel the faint stirrings of lust filling his veins. It had been years since he had sex, mostly since he never spent much time near woman instead of anything about looks. With a fit body and brown hair and blue eyes he wasn't ugly but simply didn't search out the fairer sex.

He had a brief arguement with himself, whether he should open the door to this woman or not. After all he spent his time away from people for a reason but eventually he went over to the door, opening it for the woman.

"Want do you want?"

After a few agonizing seconds in which Ashley's heart dropped, worried that there wasn't anyone home after all, there was a blessed click and the door swung open. He looked slightly grouchy, but his face was handsome and though the shirt he was wearing wasn't particularly figure-hugging, it wasn't hard to guess that his body was chiselled. If he lived in Ashley's home town, she wouldn't have hesitated to make some sort of move on him. As it is, she didn't deem herself fit to flirt at the moment, sweaty and dishevelled as she was from her backpacking trip. Moreover, he looked slightly peeved at having a visitor.

"What do you want?" he almost grunted. Ashley felt slightly guilty, but she didn't see that she had much of a choice. There probably wasn't another house for miles around, and she badly wanted to get to the airport.

"I'm sorry to bother you, sir, but may I use the phone? I need to call a taxi," said Ashley politely, hoping that the man wouldn't think that she was up to no good.

Sean looked her up and down, even better looking up close. Those long buired feelings of lust flared up again but the man stomped then down for now. The brown haired man certainly didn't often look aroudn for any sort of woman but this one certainyl would have turned his eyes. He actually didn't mind her dirty look, enjoying the way it made her clothes stick to her body.

Sean struggled for a moment, arguing with himself on whether to let her in or not but finally he opened the door all of the way. "Sure you can try to use the phone. To tell you the truth I only have a cell phone here, they don't run phone wires up here, but you can try to see if you can get a signal."

Sean gestured towards the kitchen where the phone was. "Would you like somethign to drink?"

Heaving a sigh of relief as the man nodded his assent and opened the door for her, Ashley stepped into the house with an outburst of gratitude. The house was minimally decorated, but it had a rather pleasant, aesthetic feel to it. She was slightly disappointed to learn that he didn't have a land wire to speak of, and that she had to make do with his cell phone. It was usually pretty difficult to catch a phone signal up here in the rural outskirts, but it was better than nothing.

"Oh, yes please, may I please have a water?" Ashley said, not believing her luck at having met such a hospitable (and hot) man while being completely lost. Dumping her heavy bag on the floor, she felt as if she was tons lighter now with the burden off of her. Taking the cell phone, she began to fiddle with it, and she was right. There was no signal to speak of. "Oh dear, there isn't a signal. Perhaps I should try it on your balcony." Ashley ventured out into the balcony, hoping that the open air might encourage the cell phone to pick up some sort of reception.

John nodded as she accepted his offer for a drink, stepping into the kitchen and pulling out a glass for her. Pouring the water into the glass his eyes locked onto the medicine cabnit that was above the sink. he kept the medicine he used there, not much to tell the truth but there was a medication that caught his interest. The sleep aides that he used, small capsules, but if you cracked them open they were just filled with powder. They wee certainly enough to knock a woman out cold.

Sean's hands froze for a second, but then suddenyl moved, cracking a pill open and opening the white powder into the water. It dissolved easily, mixing in with the water, not changing the look at all.

"So any luck with the phone out here?" Sean asked as he stepped out onto the balcony, holding out the glass of water to the young woman.

"Not really," said Ashley, dismay in her voice. Unsuspectingly, she took the glass of water from his hands, thanked him and gulped it down thirstily. It was an unbelievably hot day and her waterbottle had run out some time ago, leaving her parched for water. The water tasted a little strange, but Ashley was far too hot and thirsty to care. Besides, this was the mountainous regions, after all. Perhaps their water here was cleaner somehow. Finishing off the cup of drink, Ashley handed the empty glass back to the owner of the house and stared back in dismay at his unresponsive cell phone. "I don't get it, how do you contact anyone if you can't get a reception up here? I mean - isn't it..."

Ashley was cut short by a sudden dizzy spell. She handed the cell phone back to the man quickly, just in case she dropped it, attributing this dizzy spell to her recent dehydration. "Oops, I'm feeling a little off balance, sorry about that," she tried to laugh it off. Her world was slowly gaining speed as it spun, but then all of a sudden, it stopped and was replaced by a great feeling of lethargy. This wasn't traditional symptoms of dehydration, Ashley thought. She put two and two together, and just before her knee buckled, she realised that the drink was possibly spiked.

Collapsing onto a heap on the balcony floor, Ashley felt limp and devoid of energy, unable to move a muscle, but still somewhat conscious. She couldn't even muster the energy to speak, or protest against the man, and could only live with an impenetrable terror anticipating what he had in mind for her.

"Well the signal does kind of come and go up here. Its never really that important for me." John said, watching as Ashley took the water from his hand and drink it. He knew that the effect would be pretty quick, after all he had used the pills before and without the pill having to dissolve first it should be quick.

The brunette took the cell phone as she swayed, putting his hand on her shoudler so that she wouldn't fall down right away. As she slipped to the floor he simply guided her to the floor, letting her slip down easily to the floor. He could see the pills having their effect, though she didn't seem to be falling unconcious right away, simply loosing all of her energy and slipping to the ground.

"Don't you know that you should never hike in the mountains without a partner. If you happened to get hurt then what would you do?" John slipped his arms underneath the fallen woman, lifing her and taking her back inside. He took her to his bedroom, dropping her on his bed. Her clothes wee easy to get rid of, though he left her underwear on her body, after all it was more fun to take them off later. He did tear some strips of cloth from an old sheet though, tying her hands above her head to the headboard of the bed.

Ashley felt like a ragdoll as John carried her from the balcony into the bedroom. She couldn't even cry. Only her eyes betrayed her fear and terror as she watched John tear up a sheet of cloth, which he used to tie her hands above her head, to the bed posts. He undressed her quickly, but left her bra and panties on, presumably for later. Lying almost naked on a stranger's bed, quite immobile, Ashley could only anticipate what was coming up for her next, which wasn't that hard to guess. Her energy was regaining, but very, very slowly. She could muster a barely noticeable shake of her head, her feeble attempt to plead with him to stop.
