Is there a section for writing a story by yourself?

I apologize if this is somewhere obvious, but I could only find it in the OOC forums.

I would like to perhaps write up a short story, in character, to help flesh out some ideas, but also give myself and other players a better glimpse into my writing and player. My aim is to test her, and in other roleplaying forums I have belonged to there has usually been a section for character journals and short stories.
