My idea:
Our characters are best friends (both males) living in a boarding school together (maybe roommates or something).
During a chemistry experiment, your character is exposed to some chemical which causes them to gain telekinetic powers. Unfortunately, in order to use them, they have to temporarily shift into a female form. Not only that, but overusing their powers makes them stuck in it for longer, and doing really 'feminine' things makes them more powerful (if your character fully embraced womanhood, they'd become something of a demigoddess, but would be permanently stuck in that form). Eventually, the chemicals you were exposed to turn out to be connected to a criminal organization, which we'll have to run away from.
