The smell of burning fire lingered in the air. All around him, chaos could be seen. The grounds have fallen, the opposing race is nearly struggling with extinction.
And he couldn't be any prouder.
Kael looked around with a smirk on his face. Finally, victory was upon them. Finally, the angels have fallen. He watched as his subordinates monitored the capture of the angels that survived. The line of captured angels ended at where the portal began. It was time to bring those white birds to their kingdom as their eternal prisoners.
He could faintly hear the teases the male demons were making. Some of them were already trying to get an angel (or angels) to their beds that night. "Lord Kael," his subordinate said, making him snap out of his observation.
"Yes, Mana?" Kael responded.
"The last of the Angel Priestesses had already been captured."
The news suddenly made their victory a small one. Kael chuckled a victorious chuckle as he responded, "bring her to me."
